Disappointing Storage Solution
" I've gotta admit that this looks pretty cool in the corner of my room, but as a way to store Lego it's not that great. There's fundamental design flaws that really hurt this product and make me not feel comfortable recommending it to anyone.
+ There's a circular hole at the bottom of two of the pieces. It's the perfect size to get tons of small Lego wedged inside. I was forced to cover the bottom in duct tape just to be able to use this product as intended!
+ The pieces don't fit together snugly as I imagined. It's nothing like a real Lego connection, and the pieces are very loose and shaky when stacked on top of each other.
+ You have to take all the top pieces off if you want to open the red large container. This is where you would store the majority of bricks, so it can become quite a hassle. The red brick stores about 1500 assorted Lego pieces.
+ My white piece was scratched and covered in dirt when it arrived. The packaging was also torn. This was not enough to warrant a return for me, but was disappointing and a very bad first impression.
I will continue using this as a display piece, but will likely be looking for a new storage solution in the near future. :( "

Ultimate Starter Pack
" [See attached images for full list of pieces included in this set]
As an adult just getting back into Lego, this seemed like the largest collection of assorted bricks available for purchase. There's 1500 pieces in all different colours. It was pretty much everything I expected, however, there's a few things that I feel could be improved.
+ More larger plates. I would have liked at least 6 or 7 larger plates to build on.
+ 1 or 2 extra lego separators. If this was purchased for children or a family, I think it would be nice to have at least one additional lego separator tool.
+ Some type of storage. I purchased a storage case separately, but I think at the very least a simple plastic box could be included that fits all 1500 pieces.
+ More offline instructions included. The instruction book included only has about 4-5 small builds, with the option to view a few more online. I feel at least a dozen could be included with a set this large.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to start building MOCs or just play around with some Lego. It's very interesting learning about all the different types of pieces and how they can be connected together.
This would be great for kids or adults, and it's sure to spark the imagination of anyone who gets to dig around in this big pile of Lego pieces. :) "

Very Nice Hidden Surprise
" I was very intrigued by the details and how so much was fit into a small space. I think if someone did not know what was inside, they would be very surprised lifting the top off for the first time.
The set includes two Minifigures, and a small toy train. There's a Christmas tree, fireplace, armchair and other details inside. The set is surprisingly sturdy, and can be held on one side while open. The top of the present lifts off easily.
Overall, I was very impressed and am excited to display this during Christmas time! "
