Skeptical but suprising
" This set, this set, first of all when I found this set was coming I thought it would fail. First of all, the movie wasn’t a massive success. And the porgs were one of the most hated parts of the film. But I was pleasantly surprised with this set. A couple weeks before it was released I decided I would purchase it. During the building process was mostly easy, apart from the insides. The reason being if you make an error, which is rather easy to do, you end up having to pull evrything apart. Now, on to the set, it is a bit small which was to be expected from a lego Starwars set. And what I would say is that I feel it could do more than it actually does. Even so, it is very detailed and looks very nice, apart from the compromises they had to make in order to Make the features work. I’m fine with that because it still looks decent and will make a good edition to anybody’s collection "

Is this really LEGO
" First of all,I bought this set on release day, I built it a week later. I did it slowly because I was pretty busy. Once it was built I was truly amazed. The level of detail is spectacular, and it’s not just surface detail it’s intricate and runs deep throughout the set. Something I would like to state, is it that the minifigure choice was not what I expected. The figure did not have arm printing. Unlike the snowspeeder from a year prior. Still I feel that the set is wonderful and recommend it to anyone searching for a big and detailed model. "
