"A cute storage idea, though its used more for a decoration than practical storage in my home since the shape is a bit awkward (it was a surprise Xmas gift, so I just keep candy in it for now).
It's basically a large bowl for loose items.
Whether that be your favourite lego pieces you want in a special place, somewhere to store coffee pods to brighten your morning, a cookie jar, a piggy bank for loose change, or whatever else you might desire!
---
I enjoy it, though i think it'd be fun to have more options for the face than just a plain smile and one with makeup on. I'd like to see some classic lego faces as an option, or maybe the company can let users design their own character's face (like they do on the lego website avatars) and can purchase that?
Otherwise, it looks great as a fun statement piece in your home! I find it puts a smile on guests faces."
"I already had a decent backpack, but was thrilled to see a smaller option of a lego bag to carry my hard drives, chargers, cables, and more to and from work.
I like how it's small enough to fit into your bag/purse for everyday use while still having that clever lego personality.
PROS: • Multi-purpose: You or your kids can grow while still having use for it. This could easily be used as a pencil case, makeup bag, travel bag for toiletries, lose electronics, used as a statement handbag, or even just a bunch of lego for the littles ones on the go. • The padding assures anything delicate (like electronics) won't get scratched or dinged as easily if dropped. • The shape is a fun design, many compliments!
CONS: • I only need it for a few electronics, but it'd be too small for all of my art supplies I keep in my actual pencil case. • The studs on top are only 2 inches in circumference. Along with the circular shape, you're a bit limited on what can be put into them. I personally use one for my phone charger and the other for earbuds. But they have to be wound up tight to fit, which might eventually damage the wires... • The shape is meant to resemble a 1x2 lego plate (a flat brick), but it'd be good to have the option for a taller piece, probably with a zipper horizontally in the middle to separate it into two compartments. But otherwise I'm OK with this since I didn't need mine to be that large.
___
Overall, it's a great way to get a lego designed accessory without the price of the large backpack! If it was like the last batch of bags (regular boring bags with the lego logo), I'd skip it - but I like how these are shaped like the pieces. Feels more iconic as a fashion piece.
But I regretted not getting the fun lego shaped bags in 2008, so who knows how long these will be available until they're gone?"

Nicely padded! I thought the honeycomb pattern was a nice surprise in a yellow bag

Quite Pricey
"Having the last city gas station, I can say this one is quite small for the price it's at.
While I am glad the city line is including much more detail into their sets, and trying uncommon building methods (the last one was rather empty in the inside), I feel it is not worth $100 at all.
Even the 2-in1 aspect feels like a last minute excuse for being so expensive.
Other than the stickers, I feel you can make a decent gas station with common bricks at home. Until they make a more standout "unique" design for a gas station, I say skip this one."

Awesome Timepiece
"This watch is amazing!
Unlike the children's watches which are clunky and a little goofy, these are mature and stylish looking. You could wear it on any occasion and not feel like a dork! :D
The actual piece feels solid enough for a watch, and the plastic links make it easy to adjust the size to fit your wrist comfortably (and the extra colours are great for personalizing it).
Even if you're not that in to LEGO, this is still an amazing accessory to own! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!"

A MUST for landscapes
"Baseplates are usually needed for most buildings, it's how they're supported! But trying to put many different buildings (on smaller, separate baseplates) beside each other could ruin the harmony of a "complete" city tone. So this basic piece is more important/useful than one would think!
The grey tone is good for a more cement tone, as you would find in a city environment, or another planet (like the moon). It also can be used to make a great wall/backdrop in a stop-motion video.
But be warned; the thinness and large width combination makes this baseplate pretty delicate. Don't bend it too hard, or it may break!"

Great as Ocean
"This is awesome for underwater scenes. I used it in a stop-motion video, and it is great! Better than having to use a blue beach towel as the water!
Pros: Great as water, expands your creativity, and very useful!
Cons: it's NOT a big deal, but the older baseplates had prints on them (ex; waves, beach sand, etc.), but I guess this leaves more room for creativity. (like if it was a blue planet, blue carpet for a Lego house, etc.)"
