"I love everything about this set. Each set piece does a good job of representing a part of Rapunzel's room and I was surprised to find that the Build and Swap functionality is quite useful. I'm not a huge fan of Build and Swap components of other Disney sets, but this one allows you to convincingly change the set up of her window area and book shelf quite well. As for the minidoll, it looks great! I believe this particular one is supposed to be representative of the Tangled animated series and as such, the face print has been redesigned a bit. I have to say that I really, really like the art style and expression. This is probably the best Rapunzel minidoll released so far."
"I was very excited to see we were receiving Jasmine and Aladdin minidolls this year. Its been quite some time since the last Jasmine set was released and I don't believe there's ever been an Aladdin minidoll. These two figures, along with carpet are the main reasons to purchase this set. Otherwise, you're left with a structure which vaguely resembles Jasmine's balcony/the marketplace and a small nod to the Cave of Wonders. If anything, it would have been nice for the Case of Wonders to be the main build. Don't get me wrong the main structure is nice enough for its colours and exterior detailing. However, the interior is quite bare. It would be nice for the main builds of future Disney sets to include set pieces that tie into key moments in their respective films."
"I have to say that I really love this set. It comes with three awesome minifigures and all of the set pieces are pretty useful. Both the Underminer's vehicle and the Incredibile are pretty cool builds. Being a LEGO Juniors set, I was concerned that the builds would not be as detailed as mainline LEGO builds, but that wasn't the case. I like that it's simple enough for younger builders to manage, without sacrificing the details/quality of the build.
This is also a great set because it recreates both the ending of the first film and the beginning of the second. As such, I kind of like to consider this to be a set from the first movie since that's my favourite."
"I've been wanting a Poison Ivy minifigure for a long time, but haven't purchased one for 2 reasons: (1) She's typically bundled with the more expensive sets ($80+) and (2) these sets usually include almost no accessories for her.
You'd think that with her receiving title billing in this set she'd come with something quite substantive, but all you really get is a tiny base for her. I don't understand how LEGO is able to release a whole mech for a barely known character, such as Egghead, yet not give better treatment to an A list villain such as Poison Ivy. The Batman mech is decent enough, but there are so many Batman set pieces out there already.
Also, worth mentioning is that this Poison Ivy mini figure seems like a big step backwards. There's no printing on her hair or legs, like most previous versions have had. This is probably the most primitive Poison Ivy lego figure released and that's really unfortunate when considering how innovative LEGo has become with their mini figures over the last decade."
"Its great to finally have a Tiana minifigure, but where's Pocahontas? She's the only Disney princess that hasn't been released or depicted in any lego media!
As for the set itself, I feel like this set is best for people who are new to the lego Disney line. The fact that this set is basically three mini sets means that each character's respective accessories/props don't amount to much. The Ariel and Aurora builds make up the bulk of the set and this is really unfortunate because we've seen very similar builds before. A lego fan only needs so many undersea carriages and sleeping beauty towers! This is especially an issue for Tiana, because she barely comes with anything - and this is her debut release! I mean if Mulan was able to be released in her own set, why shouldn't Tiana or Pocahontas?
I really hope that when Pocahontas gets her turn, she gets a dedicated set. Maybe include a canoe and Grandmother willow set piece w/ Flit and Meeko mini figures?"
