Really good value.
" The main build has room for two minifigs which makes it fun to fit in with the the City stuff. I like the movable stuff -- the rocket engine, the pop up supercharger and the tailgate.
My two nitpicks are: the wheels don't spin as freely as they would if it'd used full axles. The pins feel a bit underweight when compared to the body of the car and the wheels.
The addition of one more flat 2x6 to fill the big hole in the floor of the cargo area in the back.
My son decided 'dog show winner' (series 17) minifig should be the driver (71019: Cole, navigator) of the rally car but his dog kept falling through the hole in the back.

Mostly good
" I put off getting this one for a while because I'm not really into any of the add-on toy things that shoot things or squirt water or whatever.
From a practical point of view, 10 white 1x1 studs can be lost forever in about 5 minutes. Secondly, as someone else mentioned a 'snowball shooter' is just not something you'd see on a ski slope. Third, I'm just not a fan of having imagination taking a backseat to projectile shooters.
I do quite like the vehicle though. I like the tracks, and I like how it can sit alongside the arctic exploration sets.
I'll be modifying it to have a larger cab, no canon and more of a sciency feel.

A little disappointing
" I am almost always happy with Lego purchases I make so I thought is was necessary to leave a short review of this one because I was a bit disappointed with the pizza van.
I realise that this set is over 2 years old now so maybe design conventions have changed but I find it pretty inconvenient that the roof isn't designed to easily come off. It would make playing with the back part of the truck better. It's not easy to get a minifig in or out of there and it makes the 'oven' useless.
There's a lot of stickers in this set which I'm not really a fan of.
In general I just don't think it was well executed. It doesn't need two back windows and how do you generate enough power to run a pizza oven in such a tiny van?
I do however like the Vespa-style motor scooter that is included. "

Endless Summer
" This is the kind of Creator set I like because it meshes well with the City sets.
Re the main build, everything is the back is useful and all the things on the roof (chairs, BBQ) make the sets very playable.
Of the vehicle sets I've bought in the last three months, this is the one my son likes to play with the most. We named the minifigs Stefan and Helga.
I'll never have an old VW Kombi in real life but at least i have this.

Good value
" I know that this set is on the way out but this is one box that's actually cheaper on the Lego website than in the big department store chains.
My son and I liked this set because of what it adds to house and neighbourhood building experiences. There's plenty of vehicle sets but few dedicated house sets. "
