ARC-170
" Basically this is an amazing set and is excelent value for money. The new clone pilots are amazing with their orange visors, the new green astro droid is great and kit fisto is very cool. I highly recomend this set for anyone over the age of 7 to 8. Lots of new features compared to the old one. Its also much bigger at a bit bigger than 19 inches. Amazing detail. A lot of thought has gone in to this set. The only problem is that the wings are bit fragile. "

Best Small Set...
" This is by far the best small lego star wars set. With rare minifigures like Ben Kenobi, and secret compartments, this set is completely fantsatic. Plus excellent pricing and a must have for Lego Star Wars collectors. This is where the fun begins! "

Finally a Ship to Rival the X-wing...
" For starters, this is one of the greatest lego sets I have ever purchased. I've always been a fan of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and I'm so excited that they are finally releasing sets like these. I hope they continue to release EU sets! (such as the Rogue Shadow) The unique cockpit has to be the climax of the set, it turns so smoothly and with little effort. The wings are incredibly stable and can withstand even the heaviest of strains. If this is a continuation of the TIE series of fighters, I believe they should continue. I hope they're revitalizing the TIE series in a sleeker form, as they've already remade Darth Vader's TIE Advanced. The look on my face when I saw this was priceless I'm sure. Any great Star Wars fan, or lego fan at that, should definatly buy this set. "

Let The Fun Begin...
" This set is very useful and a lot better than the old 9v motors. The set enables you to make your creations move with the latest LEGO movement technology. This set includes all you need to start your way into the Power Functions world and to bring your LEGO creations to live. However, I think that some extra pieces would be useful... "

Most Playable Set......
" I originally bought this set as a decorative piece for my office, the only person who usually plays with my lego star wars models is my 5 year old nephew. This set is by far the best set i have, unlike my other sets that tend to break this one doesn't. The set has a great play value and incorperates lots of rare, dark green-coloured bricks and a lot for one set, which all helps to make an intricate battle scene.
AT-ST: The overall appearance is very accurate, however the legs do not work that well on the ground. Yes, they move in a walking contrivance, but in such a way that it does not walk on hard or flat surfaces. The cabin is less detailed than expected, but still comfortably seats a minifigure. That aside, it looks good and goes well with the set.
CATAPULT and GLIDER: The glider's transparent holder is ingenious and practical; although it doesn't quite balance well. The catapult features the rare dark-green base bricks, and 4 bricks to throw. It also holds such classic weapons as a crossbow and a spear.
MINIFIGURES: Well, the Ewoks are just fabulous. Really, they look very movie-accurate, and Chief Chirpa's stick is great, too. 3 Ewoks, too! Great! Also, LEGO's new Biker Scouts, not seen for a long time, either. The Imperial Commander (last seen in the Death Star set) goes well, although another one would have been nice, as the Imperial forces are out-numbered in this set. Classic Han Solo, Chewbacca and R2-D2 are back, but Leia returns in her Rebel Alliance army outfit. Likewise, the all-new Rebel Commandos come fully armed. The only problem is - where is C-3PO? He was in the scene, too, LEGO. Why is it that C-3PO must be a sought-after character? I was pleases not to see Luke Skywalker, as that is movie-accurate; he is not in this scene.
SPEEDER BIKES: Vaguely familiar, by my recollection there was one with the Clone Wars 7676 Republic Gunship, but genuinely impressive and 2 are give in the set (appropriate amount).
BUNKER / BASE: The slide-doors are very nifty, and the walls crash apart if you push buttons at the top. All adds to the great ability to react the battle well, LEGO! Could have had a control panel outside for R2-D2, though. There are also plants and weeds around the base to create a good effect. Inside, the base has 4 control panels and gun-holders everywhere! LEGO, what are the weird orange coloumns supposed to be? There is lots of space in the base and even has swivelling chairs.
Overall, I was really impressed. I was able to re-enact the entire battle scene to remarkable standards with my nephew, and the entire set looks really impressive and works well with any other set from Episode VI.

Nice Battle Pack
" Four minifigs and a ton of extras! Buying several of these is a great idea to build your rebel army. The speeder has enough great parts to reuse in other projects. "

Its A Trap...
" This set is a great representation of the climactic finish to Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. While a Rebel group lead by Princess Leia and Han Solo are attacking a bunker on the planet Endor's moon's surface to disable the orbiting Death Star II's shields, the Rebel leaders Admiral Ackbar, General Crix Madine, General Lando Calrissian, and Supreme Commander Mon Mothma are leading an armada to destroy the Emperor's space fleet. This scene is very dramatic because the Rebel armada is heading for certain distruction if the Rebels on the moon can't disable the Death Star's shields. When the armada comes out of lightspeed in the moon's orbit, Admiral Ackbar utters the now famous phrase "It's a trap!" This phrase has found it's way into pop culture. An episode of Big Bang Theory had Sheldon uttering this phrase in imitation of the Admiral.
This playset is actually a model of the bridge, command center, and repair bay aboard the Home One, the flagship of the Rebel Alliance, with a Green Squadron A-wing fighter on board for repairs. The set is built in 3 parts: the A-wing fighter, the hanger, and then the bridge and command center.
The A-wing fighter included in this set has the Green Squadron color scheme with Rebel Alliance insignia. It has flick fire missiles and laser cannons on the tips of each wing and retractable front landing gear. The engine is removeable and there is space in front of the cockpit to put a R2 droid head for navigation. The only flaw with this model is that the canopy's irregular shape causes it to come off instead of tilting forward for pilot placement. The cockpit has a printed weapons console. Underneath the A-wing are 2 2x2 plates that are joined together to make a box. This box sits neatly into a cradle in the repair bay of the Home One. The A-wing has lots of detail and is very swooshable
The repair hanger bay of the Home One has many features. There is a handle that turns the cradle the A-wing sits in so that you can fly it in, do the repairs, turn it around, and fly it out. There is a crane that travels a beam so that you can hoist the engine out of the A-wing and fuel hoses to refuel it. There are two hatch doors in the floor with storage space for tools or weapons. There is an exit on the left to enter the command center. There is a locking mechanism above and 3 holes below the exit that connects the hanger with the rest of the playset.
The bridge and command center section also has many details. The bridge overlooks the command center and consists of 2 battle stations with chairs and adjustable consoles and the command chair. Admiral Ackbar's command chair has a console that swings down from the right and sits on a rotating mechanism like the cradle in the hanger. With practice you can rotate the Admiral in his chair and say "It's a trap!" just like he did in the movie. Warning, this is very addictive, I don't know how many times I've said "It's a trap" since I built this set. The command center is where the Rebel leaders planned the attack on the Death Star and sits below the bridge. There are 2 exits (one leading to the hanger) and five consoles placed in a semicircle on platforms that surround a holographic model of the Death Star. There are 2 projector dishes that are creating the holograph. On the right of the bridge/command center section are axle pieces that connect it to the hanger.
The best things about this set are the minifigures and if you are a big Star Wars fan like me you have to have them. Admiral Ackbar is the commander of the Rebel space fleet that finally defeat's the Emperor's fleet. There is another Mon Calamari crewman to repair the A-wing and to man one of the battle stations on the bridge. There is a A-wing pilot in green uniform to fly the A-wing. General Crix Madine, the commander of the Rebel Army, is included. Lando Calrissian at this point has joined the rebellion and has been promoted to general. The Supreme Commander Mon Mothma is also included. General Calrissian and Mon Mothma both have cloth capes. There is also a blaster and a wrench included in the set.
This set has so many details and features that will give you hours of enjoyment. This scene is the climactic conclusion of one of the best movie series ever made. Save your money and get this. Many people have complained that this set has less pieces than the Battle of Endor set but is £20 more expensive. However this set has lots of unique pieces and having the commanders of the Rebel Alliance in minifigure form in my opinion is worth it.

X-treamly Good...
" I bought this set for several reasons and I am glad that I did. The mini figures are great and I feel that the amount of figures-5 is a great value and asset to this set. For Star Wars lovers out there you cannot beat the X Wing!! I feel that the construction of the model was great and well thought out. I also like the fact that there is some challenge in putting the model together, but not too tedious. Of course putting the model together is the best part-my opinion. The gear box and lever devices used to expand and contract the wings works very smooth and is fun to play with. The cockpit, although not super detailed is still well done and holds one figure- Luke of course. Finally, the front landing gear is well done and supports the weight of the front of the ship very well. My only gripe, would be where is the C-3PO mini figure? Overall this is one of the best sets I have, it looks great as a display piece but is also extremely playable. "

Build up your army...
" I purchased 2 of these set mainly as a way to increase the size of my droid army. The droids are good as they are hard to get in other sets and you get 3 silver and 2 black. you can also use the flick missiles on the speeder. The speeder is much better than the walker in the clone battle pack and this set comes with more figures. Overall this set is ideal for bolstering your droid army but as many other people have said I would have rather had a battle droid battle pack. "
