Pride of my collection
" This set is the pride of my Ninjago collection. Its the piece that people comment on the most when I show them my Ninjago display.
The joy of this kit is in its sheer beauty. Everywhere you look you see something beautiful and detailed.
The house plants, the observation deck, the training room, the bed that fits a minifigure. The toilet! The ship has a toilet! The beautiful lanterns and the cool sails. It just goes on and on, I could list dozens of features on this kit that make you go 'wow'
The decks lift off so you can get into the Hull of the boat which features a toilet with a view of the weapons rack! A bedroom for Master Wu, with a letter rack, a photo frame with a picture of the Ninja in it..
Over the top of Master Wu's bedroom is a removable deck where the ninja can hoan their fighting skills. Then on top of that is another removable deck with the ship's wheel and the navergation tools etc. All under rollable bamboo shutters.
There are great features like a couple of boxes with food, fish, chocolate and a fizzy drink.
Up by the twin figureheads there are secret compartments for weapon stashes. Then you also have a cool winding capstan attached to dual anchors.
I feel like I haven't fully done this justice, there is so much going on in this medel, I feel like I could wax lyrical about it all night.
It was a joy to build, it fascinated me and had smiling with joy as I made it. I had to keep stopping during the build to play with the latest feature I had made, or just to smile at the beauty of the model.
This is a big beast of a model, I've built a ninjago city and dock around it for the Ninjago Movie part of my display case. I have it swarming with Garmadon's shark army and I just love it.
If I was only allowed to keep 1 model from all my Ninjago, it would be this model. "

Great scale, beautiful details
" I bought this today from my city's official Lego stockist. I was primarily driven by the price which I thought was very reasonable. Also I've always wanted Nya's Mech, but I'm running out of room in my display case. This mech suit has great scale, it stands well above a minifigure height so still looks like a Mech suit should, but it's not so huge that it will take up too much room. I've counted 16 movable parts, which means it has tonnes of possibilities for posing the model. The stickers are great and add lovely little details to the model. The styling of the model has plenty of nods towards both the original Samurai X Mech model, and also to the cartoon.
The minifigures are brilliant, Nya has a great printed pattern on her torso and legs and the new style skeletons have all the playfulness of the skeletons in the cartoon, while also looking super cool. The skeleton minifigures seem a little more robust to me than those from older Ninjago sets. Buying this has spurred me on to buy others from the legacy range. I built this as an adult, but I have too young kids who have built masses of Ninjago, and they would both have found this an easy model to build. I'm really very pleased with this model.
