And they lived happily ever after...
" This is a very cute LEGO set. It includes a bride and groom. The groom is wearing a black tuxedo with red bow tie and cumberbun. He has a top hat, clear glass, and is wearing white gloves. He also has a smile on his face. I was slightly disappointed with the bride because her dress is made up of two 2x2 plates and one 2x2 "roof tile" piece, instead of the "block leg" dress you see for some female minifigures (Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter, random Princesses from the Kingdoms or Castle Themes, or even the Bride from Minifigures Series 7.) She does have a pretty design printed on her dress and has a large vail. I like her golden tiara and colorful flowers. I also like that there are three different colored hairstyles for her...blonde, light brown, and dark brown. She also has a smile on her face. The arch is made of a thick cardboard that sticks to the base. The tile the couple stands on can also be attached to the base.
Overall this is a cute set with two quality minifigures. If the dress was one piece, it would look better, but it's not a deal breaker. It is a very clever idea and makes a great gift for LEGO fans. Thanks for reading my review. Play well!!

Surprise Surprise, I'm Lando in Disguise!
" This is a fantastic new Star Wars LEGO set!! The skiff, the "almighty" sarlaac, and the minifigures are all extremely detailed and well designed. This set contains three bags of bricks. The first bag has Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, and the sarlaac. The second bag contains Lando Calrissian in disguise, Kithaba, and the bottom of the skiff. Finally the third bag completes the skiff.
The Sarlaac is big enough to "eat" a minifigure if one falls into the mouth of the beast. It has two tentacles and eight teeth. It is surprisingly realistic looking to the movie. The skiff is very well designed and has no stickers!!!!! It has a plank for Luke to walk onto, and even has a spot for him to stand. The side "wings/rudders" are articulated to imitate speeding down the desert. It is roomy enough to fit all four minifigures.
Speaking of minifigures, the four included in this set are amazing!! Boba Fett has detailed leg printing!!!! His cape is a light green as opposed to the brown cape from his Slave 1 set. His gun is also better with the black lightsaber hilt as the barrel. Luke's minifig has a dual sided torso and black legs. Both his hands are flesh toned which is movie accurate. He comes with his green lightsaber with silver hilt. Kithaba is a cool minifigure. He has red pants, a maroon bandana, and dual printed torso. His face is well designed. Finally, Lando in his skiff disguise. He has his vibro-axe, awesome helmet, tan legs, and dual printed torso featuring his armor. Remove the helmet to show Lando with his trademark smile. The face is more detailed than the original Lando minifig. Also the detailing and colors on the helmet are much better.
All in all, this is a great Star Wars LEGO set. It has fantastic play value, four awesome minifigures, a realistic looking sarlaac, and a skiff with a moving plank. It's a great starter for the Tattooine themed sets. Buy it with confidence!!

Mesa guard your keys, Okey Day?
" I have a nice collection of Star Wars keychains ranging from Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Watto, Ahsoka, Jar Jar, Shaak Ti, Luke, Obi Wan, and many others. All the minifigures hold up well to the "wear and tear" of being on a key ring. This is an inexpensive way to get the cool minifigure you want without having to buy the entire set. The minifigure is glued together, so you don't have to worry about it falling apart. The Jar Jar Binks keychain is his newer design and coloration. It is very detailed and has accurate printing.
As I mentioned, I have had plenty of the Star Wars keychains and would recommend them. I receive many compliments whenever the key chain is noticed by other people. Give me a thumbs up if you want to see a bigger selection of Star Wars keychains. Thanks for reading my review. Play well!!!

It's the Sale of the Galaxy...
" ..."from a certain point of view." I really enjoy all three sets in this collection. The globes of the Death Star, Naboo, and Tattooine are very accurately printed/detailed. Each "planet" has the bricks inside it to build a small ship and minifigure. The Death Star has a TIE Interceptor with TIE Fighter Pilot, Naboo has a Naboo Pilot and Starship, and Tattooine includes Sebulba and his Pod Racer. Each ship is easy to build and comes with a small display stand. The minifigures are not exclusive to this collection, but it is a nice and inexpensive way to collect them. She's the fastest hunk of bricks in the galaxy!
" Wow, this set is amazing. The attention to detail, the size of the set, and the minifigures really make this set the jewel of the Star Wars line (up to this point). I think there were six steps / bags of bricks to build the Falcon. Each step had a few bags and each bag had a few smaller bags inside them. I counted over 20 bags of parts in total for this set. It was really neat watching the set come together as it progressed. The cockpit is very well designed and I like how the top opens up for play inside of the ship. It has resting quarters, the dejarik board, quad guns, control panel, etc.
I think the minifigure selection is great. Han Solo and Chewbacca (obviously), Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader. Many people questioned why Vader was included in this set, but this shows the final showdown between Ben and Vader. All the figures are updated and have more detaled outfits.
This is a wonderful set of the Millennium Falcon. I would recommend it for fans of Star Wars. It's the most recognizable ship in the Star Wars universe. Thanks for reading my review. Play well!! "

Moria. I just built a set called Moria...
" This is the one year anniversary of my first LEGO review!! So let's get down to business. This is a very nice looking set once it's put together. The first two bags contain the tomb, the well, and the gate. The third and fourth bags build the wall and the two sides. I thought the building of the gate was rather tedious. It had many little bricks that added to the detail of the design. It looks great once completed and I was very happy when it was done. The well and tomb were pretty easy to build. I really enjoyed building the wall. The falling columns are a nice feature that adds to the playability of this set. Even though there were plenty of stickers, none of them were that difficult to apply. I was happy that the sticker sheet and instruction booklet gave numbers for certain stickers. That helped a lot!!
This set contains 6 minifigures, 2 skeletons, and a large Cave Troll. The troll is much larger than the Hulk from the Marvel line (about an inch taller). He is blueish in color and has a large club. He has a chain to be "controlled" by one of the Orcs. This is the only set to get Legolas, Boromir, Pippin, and the two Orcs. Legolas (LEGOlas) is wearing a green outfit, has his trusty bow and arrow, and has a really cool blond hair piece. Boromir has his sword, shield, and cape. Pippin has a green cape and has a blue jacked printed on the torso. The Orcs have a cool armor pattern dual printed on the torso. One has a mace and the other has a sword and shield. Gimli has dual axes and an awesome helmet. All the minifigs have dual printed faces (except for the two skeletons).
Overall this is a great set from the Lord of the Rings. I think it would appeal to many different types of buyers. The LOTR fans, fans of castles and medevial themes, and someone looking for great playability and accessories.

Gandalf the Grey!
" This is a nice starter set for the LOTR line. It comes with two exclusive minifigures of Gandalf and Frodo. Gandalf is wearing a grey cape, grey pants, grey torso, grey beard, AND a grey wizard hat! Frodo has a green torso with brown overalls and dark brown short legs. His face is dual printed with a worried and a smiling face. His hair piece is better than expected and is very detailed and accurate.
The horse and cart are quite nice. The horse's head is very detailed with the white face design and printed bridle. The back legs and the neck/head are articulated. It's very easy to make the horse stand on his back legs now. As a result, the front legs do not move. The cart was an easy build. It comes with many accessories including a carrot, a snake, a letter, a book, a basket, fireworks, etc.
Overall, this is a nice LOTR set which shows how Frodo's adventure began. It has two awesome minifigs, a new LEGO horse, a sturdy cart, and many fun accessories. Thanks for reading my review. Play Well!! "

Leader of the Pack
" This is a fun small set from the Avengers. You receive Captain America in all his glory, an alien general, and an alien soldier. The set also contains Cap's motorcycle, a flying chariot, and a missle launcher. The cycle is pretty standard to most LEGO motorcycles. This one does have a piece that holds Captain America's shield! The flying chariot has some nice golden pieces and the stickers are easily applied.
The best part of this set are the three minifigures. Captian America is very detailed and accurate. He is dark navy blue with dual sided printing on the torso. He also has dark red gloves. The shield is really cool and well done. The alien general has a more detailed torso and legs than the foot soldier. The general also has a darker gray theme.
This is a nice, inexpensive set that contains three awesome minfigs and two fun vehicles. It is a great starter set for the Avengers line. Thanks for reading my review. Play well!!!

Hulk Angry!!!
" This is a decent set from the Avengers. I like the assortment of minifigures and the jet. However, the lab itself is kinda boring. The set is broken up into three bags of bricks: 1) Jet with Hulk and Hawkey 2)middle of the lab and Loki 3) ends of the lab and Thor. The jet is a little smaller than expected, but the colors of it are nice. It has flick fire missles and an exploding cockpit shield. There were a few stickers, but they were easy to apply. The middle section of the lab is ok. It's where Loki is being held prisoner. It has an cool feature where the front of the cell "breaks open" during Loki's escape. The fuel canister launcher is fun too. The two sides of the lab attach to the main part, but aren't really doing much. The one side that is examining the staff looks more like a sports bar with a big comfy chair. You could use the windows as a giant TV and watch the playoffs!! The build wasn't that hard and a bit tedious with the sides of the lab.
I really like the minfigures that come with this set. The Hulk is exclusive to this set. He is very similiar to the Wampa from the Star Wars line. He has articulated hands at the wrist which is very cool. His hands are shaped where he can hold a minifigure on the bottom and smaller accessory items on the top. Finally the Hulk has brown pants and towers over the others. Hawkeye is Ok. He has a dual printed face (sunglasses and without). The printing on the torso is very detailed showing the "quiver" of arrows on his back and black flight suit. Loki has his large helmet and green cape. He comes with his staff. Thor is awesome. He has his red cape, mjolnir (hammer), and blond hair piece. Very good choices for this set.

Favorite Minifigure Series
" Top to bottom this is a great set of minifigures. There are many "instant classics" such as the Aztec Warrior (my favorite), Galaxy Patrol, Ocean King, Hippie, Black Knight, and Rocker Girl. I'm impressed with the great detail on many of the minifigs. Even the accessories are top notch! Especially the laptop (Computer Programmer), the bagpipes and hat (Bagpiper), the shell crown (Ocean King), the golden helmet (Aztec Warrior), the guitar (Rocker Girl), the various swords, shields, and helmets, even another monkey. I like the continuation of past themes: like the Bunny Suit Guy (from the Monkey Suit Guy from Series 3 and Lizard Suit Guy from Series 5), the Tennis Pro (Tennis Girl from Series 3), and the Female Viking (Viking from Series 4). Brand new ideas like the Bride (with veil and flowers), Hippie with his awesome tie dye shirt and long hair, Grandma's Visitor (with basket and red hood), and the Daredevil with his cool jumpsuit and helmet. There are 4 minifigs with dual printed faces (Swimmer, Viking Girl, Galaxy Patrol, and Daredevil).
I found the figures at my local retail store. It took me about 45 minutes to locate each figure by feeling the bags for the accessories. It would be great if LEGO considered the option of selling them as a complete set. I would highly recommend this product for collectors, parents, and kids. All the figs are awesome in their own way!!
