Mixed
" I am very mixed on this set as I do like it - but I am very disappointed in it as well.
Let's start with the 'shield shooters'. I do like that they are printed. However, Avengers logo on it instead of the star and circles?
In scaling, this bike is like cutting a monster truck in half, taking the roof off, and then sitting a person in there to ride a monster bike. That's just extremely odd. The bigfigs Cull/Thanos/Hulk actually fit the scale alot better - but their hands don't match the handlebars, nor do the handle bars scale well with the bike.
Would have actually been better without cap or the riders tbh. Caps face; issues. Should have been regular coloured, and featuring a hair piece to switch the helm with so when posing in the future, I'll likely use his infinity war head with the quantum suit and helm, or hair from that.
The bike is amusing to put together, I actually contemplated changing the back wheels brackets so it would free bounce over terrain, but decided against it as logically it off balances the back of the giant seat.
Speaking of, without the shield attached to the back end of the bike, there's a rather large hole there that just looks rediculous. I would have preferred that to be filled in and attaching the shield to be either: by an upward c 1x1 (15712) piece, underneath offering a backseat for a passenger, or another staging outlet for an attack on cap while on the bike.
My chosen display is to lower the kickstand to make the bike look as if it's turning - which does help to shrink down the massiveness of the bike to the minifig scaling.
I just wish the bikes front wheel section actually had turning action instead of being solid :/. That would have boosted my rating significantly tbh. "

You should have shirts in your closet Tony.
" This is honestly my favourite set from this series, despite the cons. Which are mainly, I would have preferred 2 more iron man suits to 2 more outriders. And 2 more compartments for the suits instead of the igor suit. So it'd be a full tribute to starks lab where he spent a majority of his time.
This being said, I LOVED taking the spit from the iron man poly bag to recreate the scene where his helmet was coming to complete the suit. (I should have used a regular iron man suit instead of the endgame one lol)
MK1 being included is an amazing feature. Quick build, and fun to position. "

Holy train wreck o.O
" I am typically hyped about legos planes/ships as their designs are straight up, hands down, legit and epic boss mode.
Unfortunately for me, this set just has so many oddities going on that it's actually difficult to process appropriately. Less, toss out the window the main neg hit for this entire wave - which is none of it (except maybe the compound - and the quantum suits) are actually accurate to the film. Though, as the box simply states "Avengers" and not endgame I am fairly certain that there was so much mystery for creating the set to avoid any possible spoilers. It seems more so and evidential that your designers were probably told to pay homage to the OG 6. So, I think that actually works more so in your favour. Caps bike mainly from AoU, War Machine buster - wasn't even a thing in any film, Quinjet featured in many excluding endgame primarily hawk/widow, and hall of iron mainly iron man installments.
This aside I'll roll out the cons:
1) the prices are quite whacko. The compound at 699 pieces being 139.99 CAD and this quinjet being 838 pieces but 99.99 CAD (difference of 139 pieces and $40) is just super strange. Kinda says this one is worth it's price and the compound, really isn't.
2) The build, is really amazing, but at about halfway, I was realizing that there's an unfortunate drawback that I was hoping would come in the next bag, until it didn't occur at all. That being, the bottom is flat but it is trying to feature a ramp at the back of the ship? :s where's some legs? or some kind of stand to prop it up? - a side project I thinks x=.
3) Inaccurate: I am a fairly huge MCU fan, and I really don't recall a cannon being at the top of the quinjet. I can only remember it dropping down from the nose of the ship in the first avengers targetted at Loki?? so why was it placed in the back? and reiterating my 2nd point: why not at the front to be accurate and include landing gears/or propping stilts?
4) Fragile and awkward spots:
The front cockpit window, doesn't like to be opened and closed. It's held on by 2 pegs only, so when opening - the windshield /always/ comes off on me. 2nd: the 2nd overhead window. This particular spot urks me greatly as I tried numerous times to connect the window with it's covering - but it's actually about half a peg off from being able to do so. Which in the pics on the box and OCD lining up - is irritating. ANNND lastly, the openess of the wings make it look a bit cool in a way, but also more hollow than it actually is.
5) The trike. I wish I had taken separate photos of this but alas I forgot to. My intial thoughts were it actually looked cool, but then I tried to attach hawkeye to it and found it to be quite difficult. The "seat" isn't really a seat to sit a minifig at, its more of a 'bed'. In one way it's actually an accurate look... but fails in practicality use for play and/or scene set up. It's better left empty stored in the plane, or scraped and made into something better. There's no where to attach hawks bow, so why keep his quiver on it?
Conish/Pro: The ramp just doesn't function with this flat design, even though it shows it as that function on the box. I preferred to, flip it so when the hatch is closed it actually looks finished instead of leaving an unfinished look like the benetar of the infinity war series.
Pro: If you can look past all of the above then at the end of the day; as a lego fan/addict it is really fun to build. as an MCU fan, it's nice to have. Overlooking the basic appearance and setting it up just right - it does look really good, and the tealish/aqua brick separator tool is a very nice colour and change from the orange one. "

I told you to go right!
" Though this set is meant to concur with the battle on titan, I actually attribute this set with the fight on no where as the benatar without the pod wasn't part of the titan battle. (Unless... utilizing hindsight, the set came with nebula instead of stark)
Though this set does have some downsides it is by far the best set of the infinity war series along with the thors weapon quest. I may have been out of the lego game for a while/ignorant to previous lego sets - but I do feel that selling 2 sets that combine into one to make a cohesive product is an AMAZING feat for collectors and others. So really, BRAVO! on that.
I was however disappointed that the full series ends up with 2 iron man minifigs. Leads me to believe that one should have been replaced with a different minifig (IE: this set - with a nebula instead - or a drax and then a mantis as well). And to be more complete, I think the other characters that aren't featured as minifigs, could have been released in polybags. So many of peoples faves were completely missing and absent from this set. Scarlet Witch being mine, but Nebula, Drax, Mantis, Winter Soldier, War Machine, Okoye, Loki, and Heimdall could have been dispersed throughout the sets and extra features to really build onto the massive entity of the film in the MCU.
That being said, this set is top of the line and amazing for it's release and what you get, and it's closeness and accuracy to the film.
Best feature - the combination with thors quest to complete the benatar, it really was brilliant to have the rest of in inexpensive as a marketing strategy for this set as well.
Though, this really is the fundamental of the series and must get/need. As you get both Thanos, and the Gauntlet. I chose to more emphasize the characters in this set with one of the most emotional scenes of the movie that you actually can feel. When I do re-iterate my scenes, I am probably going to keep this scene as is and disperse the rest differently because of such.
But the build, amazing. Stability, really well - I do find the connection at the top with the pod to be rather flimsy and touchy - to rectify such I decided to just start taking the roof off to begin it as that just makes it loads easier. The back end being flat in it's own though, does suggest that you should just keep the pod attached at all times as it really looks unfinished without it. I think that could have been fixed with some reverse flats on the closing door - but without any reference of what the back of the ship looked like in the film, it wouldn't have been accurate - but it at least would have been finished and more stand alone.
Overall, this set is very VERY good for both the MCU fan, and the lego building addict :D "

You're embarassing me infront of the wizards!
" I have a couple of grievances regarding this set. The first being, bad timing in purchasing. If I had waited 24 hours to purchase this via the online shop, I would have been able to save $30 before taxes due to the current 20% off heroes lego sets at toys r us. (Though, I did take advantage of this to purchase 4 of the endgame sets!)
My second is... unfortunately Spidermans apartment add-on really isn't needed. It isn't featured in this film (that was civil war!) it would have been better for a) the home coming set, OR not at all and widening the shortened sanctum building section.
My third is, buildings actually urk me so my main reasons to purchase this set were a) the time stone and b) the minifigs (which didn't disappoint) this being said. I do wish greatly that buildings lego sets came in 2 purchase types - or offered an exclusive lego.com and or toys r us and or walmart version where instead of a childrens playability factor - had an adult/collection/scene appearance factor where instead of an open back end you could build it more closed.
I feel that, this larger installment for the set - could have been better as the donut ship instead with cull obsidian being part of the hulkbuster set. (probably gift of hindsight wishes for the movie)
This being said, as a lego building addict, large sets do not disappoint. I put 3 hours build time though I'm pretty sure it was closer to/maybe over 4 hours. (I took several breaks - started this and the thresher set at 3:30pm and finished at 10:55pm.
From a build perspective this really is a great set. But from an MCU fan perspective, this was unfortunately disappointing and more targetted for the minifigs and time stone as the finished appearance, is kind of lacking and I would prefer not having it in my 'scene set ups' as I am going to take the minifigs out of this and use them in a different scene depiction from infinity war - and probably utilize the sanctorum build as an endgame scene depiction instead ;)
The highlight of the sanctorum though is definitely the roof with the sanctorum symbol. That's actually pretty amazing.
For scene depiction, I added Bruce minifig from the hulk buster set, and pretty much using this as the opening stand off of infinity war (need to find me a wong to complete that!) I really do wish that there were instead of parker apartment building - a random building you could 'destroy' to depict the maw and stranges fight scene "your powers are quaint! you must be popular with children" but I guess that's for extra building and add-ons after completing all of the sets :D
One of the things I am really happy about is, the build kind of stops after the 2nd floor of the first building, for more stability when adding the second building for it's swinging sections.
For the minifigs, this set came with a mother load! Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Dr Strange, Iron Man and the Iron Spider. Just WOW! All fairly good quality. With The maw and iron spider being a total breadwinner. "

More! Power! Rabbit!
" I purchased this set on sale from Walmart. Wasn't the high point of the set, was more because I was just getting into acquiring the full set, and this only had 1 disappointment.
As fun as the forge was to build and come together, unfortunately alot of accuracy and possibility was lost. I think some could have been taken away from the sanctorum set, and more added to this specific set in terms of film accuracy. IE a more central appearance and podium for the forge. I am confused as to what is actually supposed to represent what. It seems like the blue spinning section ontop of the forge is meant to be the star powering up but a knock off version/cheap way of doing so.
The main focal point of what makes this set great aside from the above. Is the pod. I purchased this set mainly for the figs to build a marvel vs. dc lego chess set. Then through further researching finding out that the pod actually attaches to finish the Benatar set drove me to actually purchase and complete the full infinity war set. Though rocket is a bit - awkward looking and scaling with groot is slightly off. The pod remains the highlight buildwise, and appearancewise for this set. "

We have blood to spare.
" This was one of the first infinity war sets I purchased a month ago. On the way back from an amusement park we stopped at a giant walmart - and sadly this was the only infinity war set that they had left. These aren't really close to the ships in the movie which is slightly disappointing. I do like how it opens up like a flower, even though they didn't in the film. I would have preferred a sliding function. But the shape is at least close. One of my main reasons to purchase this set at the time - was for the minifigs for a lego chess board I am making. (Outriders for black pawns) (it will be dc vs marvel - villains and heroes so I'll end up having 4 different fig sets to play as)
The build was remarkably quick with it being the initial set bringing me back to lego after a 2 decade hiatus. (Mainly due to the MCU, my disappoint of Endgame and declaring Infinity War as the best movie from the MCU x=)
This being said, the Outriders are fairly accurate to the movie, and proper scaling (in comparison to the hulkbuster)
Black Widow weapons are a tad odd and could have been better made with 1x1 circle bricks with holes in the middle alternating black white or the transparent blue - with a handle, allowing to combine into a staff like her action figure. may not have been to scale, but would have been much more accurate - her hair is a bit more yellow than white as well. At first look, you... can't really tell it's black widow either.
Captain America... again his accessories aren't very accurate. They are more like claws - so at first I spun them backwards rationalizing that the claws became a track for the blade that actually pops out from the "shields" in the movie. They should have used/made a different mould for this accessory to make them more accurate. I actually ended up 'tossing' them, and giving him the endgame sets shield. Not accurate either, but looks alot better. "

What are those?!
" I am actually saddened that this set is the first to be discontinued. With the obvious set up for multiple connectivity this should have actually been one of the last to be discontinued. I did come late to the game, so had to over pay for this set to complete the infinity war sets. I do in a way regret paying over double the original price for this :x but I am glad that this set is 100% complete. The full infinity war set minifigs have a total of 2 iron man, which one could have been removed for numerous characters that didn't make it to this minifig collection. This set I believe could have had Scarlet Witch with it as she is attributed with both Vision, and the threshers. The other negative impact of this set for me is the windows, I wish they were printed instead of stickers.
This set however, went together quite nicely. I am not really a fan of lego buildings. This albeit a building, came off more as a wall with some extra stuff on the other side of it. Which in actuality, I love. Buildings are typically an amazing front (check!), some pretty detailed inside (check!) and then left open and looking severely unfinished and almost goofy looking. which this set is not. It actually looks completed on the interior side as well.
Some of my pics include minifigs in a scene set up from the infinity war movie - which aren't actually figs included with this set - so do note this sets minifigs are: black panther, shuri, corvus glaive and vision. (maybe an out rider - at this point I do forget how many came with which set as I bundled them all up to be a part of another set - so black panther is missing from these photos and will be included in my hulkbuster review, and I decided to have Shuri just kind of lurking waiting for vision/the attack on Wakanda.)
