What an amazing build.
" Being an avid lover of all things Rome, and Roman history, this was a day one purchase for me. From opening up the box to placing the final piece, this felt like an epic journey the likes of which I’ve never had before with any other set. The base is amazingly supportive with plenty of Easter eggs embedded into it, with colours representing the Colosseums history and geology. As you start to build the walls of the structure itself, you soon get into that repetition that everyone talks about, but you also understand that it’s that same repetitiveness that creates the Colosseums amazing look! (Spare a thought for what the slaves went through). I loved the way this set comes together in sections rather than being built from the ground up, because when you finally join the final section together and complete the oval shaped wonder, it really leaves you in awe of what the designer has accomplished here!
For the full experience, I highly recommend finding a good documentary on the Colosseum, and learning about its creation and history, as it will undoubtably give you a greater experience and satisfaction while building this set. I personally absolutely loved building this set, and for me, it was worth every penny!
Gratias maximis tibi ago! "

Looks amazing!
" Having bought the Batmobile earlier this year, this set was highly anticipated, and purchased it as an early bird offer on the first day. The build itself was pretty straight forward, and while there were a lot of technic frames and plates in the first few bags, you can understand the necessity of having a strong stable foundation, especially since it’s designed to be able to be hung on a wall.
I’m always in awe at some of the techniques the designers use to create their models, and this was no exception. The highlight of this is definitely the curvature of the wings! Whilst not to give anything away, it certainly surprised me a bit. The only negative for me was the absence of the Batclaw (which is used to capture Joker’s balloons in the movie). Undoubtably this would have made a wonderful feature, especially if it was moveable, but I’d like to think the designers just couldn’t make it work.
The minifigs I thought were a great choice, and while I agree to a point that they should have chosen Bob over Lawrence, it still makes for a nice unique minifig on display. However, the Joker steals the show! While it’s not the Joker we see in the scene with the Batwing (which would have looked too similar to the Joker with the Batmobile), he looks awesome. I still would have liked to have seen the long barreled gun with him though (would have made for a very unique addition to the minifig and set).
With everything built, it looks absolutely amazing on display, especially next to the Batmobile. Now all I need is a working bat signal and my 1989 LEGO experience will be complete. "

Batman™ fans and anyone who appreciates cool cars will love the LEGO® DC Batman 76139 1989 Batmobile™ model car kit for adults. This beautifully detailed LEGO brick building toy replicates the classic curves of the famous Batmobile car, as seen in the 1989 Batman movie. Measuring over 60cm long and built from 3,306 pieces, the model offers a challenging and rewarding build. Die-hard fans will love authentic features such as the slide-open cockpit with a new-for-November-2019 wraparound windshield element, 2 hidden machine guns with a pop-up function activated by turning the turbine exhaust, and decorative grappling hooks on each side of the vehicle. The Batman toy car comes with a rotating display stand (with an attached information plate with 1989 Batmobile™ statistics) for ease of viewing from any angle. A must-have for all Batman fans, this super-hero toy construction set also includes 3 new-for-November-2019 minifigures—Batman with a cape that matches his 1989 movie outfit, The Joker™ and Vicki Vale™—plus a brick-built minifigure display stand.

Wonderful Build
" Having purchased the Bugatti Chiron and Land Rover Defender, I wanted my next choice of car to be made more of system bricks rather than technic. Having watched a few reviews of the 1989 Batmobile, I headed out to my nearest stores, and managed to find one! First off, the box looks awesome, and whilst there's no fancy packaging like the Chiron, I was surprised by the number of bags inside. This made things nice and simple in never having too many pieces open at once!
Like my other sets, I like to take my time with building them in between work and family life, but as the build slowly started to take place, the sheer size of it (length wise) was impressive from the start. Whilst it seemed an odd choice to have so many coloured bricks in the foundations of the car, I was appreciative of it when it came time to looking at the instructions, as I'm sure all black pieces would have made for a much tedious process.
Once it's finished, you can't help but to stand back and just look at it and see it for the work of art it is. Whilst others have mentioned issues such as pieces falling off, there are a couple of places (such as the exhausts) that easily fall off, but all in all, it's a pretty solid build. The cock pit is awesome, and moves flawlessly. The guns are fantastic, and work very well. And to top it all off, the minifigs look perfect. This is such an impressive display, that friends who are neither lego or Batman fans want a closer look at it, and walk away impressed. Now I want the Tumbler!!! "

Fantastic experience!
" Having purchased this set and a couple of other large technic sets over the past month, this was by far the highlight. I took my time with the build in between family life and work, and as I had made a couple of errors with the gearbox in the Land Rover Defender (42110), I wanted to get this one right. Fortunately, I did.
This is a beautifully engineered technic set, which I marvelled at every step of the way. I listened to the associated podcasts which added to the overall experience of the build, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm in awe of the designers and the complexities it took to bring this model to life!
The only downsides of the building process were a couple of missing pieces (which I got around by disassembling other technic sets), and the suspension issue, which I'm still surprised passed the quality control process. Fortunately I had watched a number of youtube videos on this issue, and made the necessary modifications along the way for the rear suspension, and now just waiting on parts to improve the front suspension. The overall look the Chiron is beautiful, although some of the panels (especially on the front) aren't as secured as they could be, and the doors with only one hinge point feel a little flimsy. The interior is fantastic, the rear wing looks awesome! Given the price, it would have been nice to see more printed pieces (there's only one), but overall, this set is amazing! On to the Sian! "
