An amazing set with several flaws
" Positives:
- The fine detailing on the ship is cool
- The bomb-dropping mechanic works well
- The whole set just looks cool overall
- The minifigures are all really cool
Negatives:
- The spring-loaded missiles are really easy to accidentally press when you pick up the ship and it's annoying
- The build is fun save for the engines, which are really repetitive to build
That's it, there really aren't any bad things beyond those two small things. It's a fun build mostly and I like this set. "

A great set to be sure
" This set is amazing, and incredibly detailed. The engines look great on the side of the ship, especially from the back. The main compartment can hold two figures along with the shipping box. The cockpit opens up and can fit one figure, which is admittedly pretty small because it also doesn't connect to the other interior if that's something you care about. I was pretty frustrated by the stickers as usual, but there were only a few, all of which are in the first five bags out of eight.
The set has a great minifigure selection, with Captain Bek and the Gonk Droid as particular highlights.
It's not particularly faithful to the original Disney ride in any way other than appearance and function; you can't fit many figures into the main compartment like the actual Disney ride does, and there's no screen in said compartment featuring the ship's driver. I personally don't care at all about that and if you really want, you can just attach one into it with whatever screen-like pieces you have.
I think this set is amazing and I had a really good time building it. The beginning of the build is a little slow, with a lot of tedious technic tinkering, but as it goes on you get to the fine detail stuff, which I find way more fun. It's definitely worth the price point for both the experience and the set, so I highly recommend it.

Recreate scenes from the classic Star Wars™ trilogy with this awesome building toy for kids, featuring a LEGO® brick-built version of Luke Skywalker’s iconic X-wing Fighter (75301). Includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and General Dodonna LEGO® minifigures, each with weapons including Luke’s lightsaber, plus an R2-D2 LEGO droid figure for roleplay adventures. The X-wing features an opening LEGO® minifigure cockpit, space for R2-D2, wings that can be switched to attack position at the touch of a button, retractable landing gear and 2 spring-loaded shooters. Fun to build and play with solo or as a group activity, this building toy makes a super birthday present, holiday gift or surprise treat for creative kids and any Star Wars™ fan aged 9 and up. This starfighter construction model measures over 3 in. (8 cm) high, 12.5 in. (31 cm) long and 11 in. (28 cm) wide, and looks awesome displayed in a child’s bedroom between playtime missions. Buying for a big Star Wars™ fan who is a LEGO® beginner? Don’t worry. This set comes with step-by-step, illustrated instructions so they can build with Jedi-like confidence. LEGO® Star Wars™ sets are fabulous for kids (and adult fans) to recreate scenes from the saga, dream up original stories or just build and proudly display the construction models. Ever since 1958, LEGO® components have met stringent industry standards, meaning they are compatible and connect consistently – no need to use the Force! Built less for display, more for flying
" I don't normally take out and play with any of the legos in my collection other than to rearrange minifigs but this one is designed for that kind of thing, and the wing-expanding mechanic is practical, if not underwhelming that it only works in the air. If you have some clear bricks, you can attach some to the body and shaft to make a small base, allowing the x-wing to remain on display with its wings extended.
Though it is hard to display, because of its large wingspan but narrow ship.
This set is probably best for anyone who prioritizes play over practicality, or people who care less about the build. I'd recommend this to children but the build is very technic-heavy because of the wing mechanism, so I'm not entirely sure who this is best for. One of the appealing factors to me was the minifigs, so the set has that going for it. I do like having it set up as a display piece despite its flaws in that category, so don't take anything in this review too seriously.

Beautiful set with a challenging build
" The Razor Crest was incredibly fun to put together and has and incredible design to it. While building, I noticed a lot of complicated structures of pegs to maintain the ship's sturdiness and ensure it doesn't break apart easily. A criticism I have is that the cockpit is small and is isolated from the cabin, but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the set at all. "
