Best Duplo Block Set
" This is by all means the best "value for money" block set. You get 80 pieces, a good variety of colors and a few interesting sizes as well.
We've gotten many other duplo sets and this basic blocks set impressed me far more than any of the other tubs or boxed sets.
Pros:
Nothing but value, as always you can use these with older kid/adult legos in the future. Again, this is the best starting point for duplo and the best addition to a well established collection.

LEGO Fire, Police & Vehicles - Fire Chief
When there's an emergency in LEGO Ville, you can count on the Fire Chief to drive there in a flash with his all-terrain quad bike. He's always the first to arrive on the scene to save the day! LEGO DUPLO pieces are colorful, safe and sturdy for younger hands.

A good first duplo set!
" Pros:
This is a sturdy little vehicle, it has an awesome "suspension" system that allows the wheels to not only turn but it allwos the vehicle to tilt back and forth/side to side which my son loves.
The flame piece is very useable outside this set, my son attaches it to many things (tailpipe of the his duplo motorcycle and calls it a rocket, etc)
Cons:
The ax is a little small so for younger kids you may want to put it to the side for awhile.
More of a lego themed set/vehicle than a set/vehicle made up of legos, besides flame pieceand a removable "emergency light bar" on the top of the vehicle there's not much that can be taken off and put back in a different way or used with other duplo sets/vehicles.

Surprisingly A Good Deal
" When we ordered this pack of bases for our 2yr old to add to his sets I was suspicious about their value. Seven dollars plus shipping seemed like a lot of money for only three pieces - BUT I am so glad my husband convinced me! ALSO I was extremely happy with the lego store's online service, we received out order very fast and it was well shipped.
PROS
They're much larger than I thought they would be, each platform is apx. 3.5in by 9in.
They are able to be "joined" with other legos/duplos not only on the top of the platform but also from underneath unlike some oldschool lego bases. So they have a wide variety of uses.
My son now uses these everytime he plays with his legos - which is all day long :) We have a lego table so he uses them primarily as blocks themselves, but he has made things on them and carried them about the house :)
No Cons to speak of!
