Good value but something smells off
" A toilet? Really? That is what I thought when I finally got to the interior of the tree house. It is a cool design, I can imagine sitting in a treehouse like this, relaxing on the couch and maybe going inside for a snack or to take a nap. It is a lot less relaxing once I realized this is essentially an outhouse haha. Overall it is a good set with some cool pieces and I like the giraffe. "

Recreate scenes from the classic Star Wars™ trilogy with this awesome building toy for kids, featuring a LEGO® brick-built version of Luke Skywalker’s iconic X-wing Fighter (75301). Includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and General Dodonna LEGO® minifigures, each with weapons including Luke’s lightsaber, plus an R2-D2 LEGO droid figure for roleplay adventures. The X-wing features an opening LEGO® minifigure cockpit, space for R2-D2, wings that can be switched to attack position at the touch of a button, retractable landing gear and 2 spring-loaded shooters. Fun to build and play with solo or as a group activity, this building toy makes a super birthday present, holiday gift or surprise treat for creative kids and any Star Wars™ fan aged 9 and up. This starfighter construction model measures over 3 in. (8 cm) high, 12.5 in. (31 cm) long and 11 in. (28 cm) wide, and looks awesome displayed in a child’s bedroom between playtime missions. Buying for a big Star Wars™ fan who is a LEGO® beginner? Don’t worry. This set comes with step-by-step, illustrated instructions so they can build with Jedi-like confidence. LEGO® Star Wars™ sets are fabulous for kids (and adult fans) to recreate scenes from the saga, dream up original stories or just build and proudly display the construction models. Ever since 1958, LEGO® components have met stringent industry standards, meaning they are compatible and connect consistently – no need to use the Force! LEGO® components are tested in almost every way imaginable to ensure they meet rigorous safety standards.

The landing gear is awful
" The landing gear does not retract, which isn't great but could be forgivable on a cheaper version of the x-wing. However, the pieces used to connect the ski to the landing gear piece on the front landing gear are super unorthodox and do not attach well. I am not sure who thought that connection was a good idea, but it seems like an afterthought and I wouldn't even think that was a sanctioned way to use the pieces, much less to see it in an official set. In any case, the ski forms a weak connection to the landing gear leg, and is going to fall off every single time you pick up the x wing. For a set aimed at kids and playability, this is a huge downside. "

Cockpit piece is loose/scratched, lots of stickers
" Overall, this would be a fun set for a kid that is a fan of Mando to play with, but there are some major disappointments for me.
The cockpit piece is scratched out of the box since it wasn't wrapped, which is very disappointing. Also, there are a lot of stickers in this set and some brick-built details would be nice, especially for kids that are growing into higher-level builders, which this the target audience for something like this. Intermediate sets with cool brick-built features are how I learned to be a better LEGO builder myself.
It's an okay set but the scratch on the cockpit really bothers me and for this price, the amount of stickers and inattention to little details is pretty disappointing. It's okay though LEGO, I still love you. We can get through this, lol. "

The color is wrong and bad.
" This baseplate is not the same color as the old baseplates and is not a good color to represent grass or plants at all. It also doesn't match the green bricks, so trying to build terrain on it looks wrong... Judging by the reviews, this has been going on for years.
I really love LEGO but I hope they change this back or at least offer the old color as an option. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this one, which is not something I would expect to have to do for a baseplate lol. Not sure what I am gonna do with these wacky green ones. "

Really Cool Set
" I really enjoyed building this set and stretched it out over a couple days. The value is definitely there for the awesome pieces you receive and it took me back to the classic castle sets from when I was a kid. I hope they do a medieval theme, so I can spend my adult dollars on it haha.
Let's put it this way: the set was so good, I am tempted to buy two more of them so I can build additional medieval buildings to go with it... "
