A Good Trooper Pack

" This is one of my favorite trooper packs, and my first one of the year. The speeder is sleek, although it could come with more features and pieces. The minifigures are very detailed, right down to the Shadow Troopers' printed knee pads on the legs. Planning to get several other trooper packs to increase my Star Wars army! "

" I love this series! Now that I have more, I am closer now to completing a series than all the other ones! By far the best series ever! (Still yet to get Series 13.)

Minifigure overview:

Battle Goddess: A favorite of mine, and a good figure to build an army with (pun intended).

Dino Tracker: Great minifigure! My little sisters say she looks a lot like Katniss from The Hunger Games.

Fairytale Princess: My least favorite. But hey, we all have least favorites.

Genie Girl: Another favorite. Love the that the base of the tail connects to the lamp.

Hun Warrior: Kind of reminds me of the Viking from Series 4. Nice and detailed.

Jester: Love that purple-orange color scheme!

Lifeguard Guy: We finally see LEGO binoculars in a red color.

Pig Suit Guy: My favorite animal-suited character. It's not every pack that includes a LEGO food.

Pizza Delivery Boy: Trivia: His bio online hints he could be Pepper Roni from the LEGO Island video games.

Rock Star: My new favorite besides the Space Miner. My first minifigure with a musical instrument.

Space Miner: My Absolute favorite. It's a little over detailed, but he is still an awesome minifigure.

Spooky Girl: Not as spooky as her name suggests, like her bio online.

Swashbuckler: Looks too much like the Musketeer from Series 4, but is a cool counterpart for the classic Pirates theme.

Video Game Guy: If it weren't for the headphones on his hairpiece, he looks a little like me. Awesome NES controller.

Wizard: This one is pretty cool, with my favorite color being the dominant on this minifigure: Blue.

I was really close to collecting every one in this series, but I ended up with more duplicates than I had hoped for. However, this is the most diverse of any character I have ever got with these Minifigure Series. The only one I'm missing is the Prospector. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to collect every one from Series 13.

All in all, lots of details, a little pricy (but what isn't?), but well worth the $3.99 each. Keep it up, LEGO, and we will have more play options than ever before! "

A Whole Lot Better Than the Last One!

" This is perhaps the most complete book on the history of LEGO Star Wars I have ever read. 5 years ago, the first version of this visual dictionary came out; needless to say, I got it, but a couple years later, I gave it to two young fans, due to the fact I wasn't reading it much since then. But, I'm so glad this one came out (of course, 3 years after I gave the original away), because I have never seen so much LEGO Star Wars in one book. Seriously. THIS is the real deal for fans.

The last one contained every set up to 2009. THIS one is updated with 5 additional years, from 1999 to 2014, with better photos, which are amazingly detailed, and, as always, it isn't a LEGO book without an exclusive minifigure: an updated version of the very first 1999 Luke Skywalker minifigure, with printing now on the back. For those who didn't get the first book, that one contained a Luke minifigure with a medal (an homage to the celebration scene at the end of Episode IV, as the theme celebrated it's 10th anniversary).

Get this book. You won't regret it. I know I didn't. "

One of the Best

" I have come to love these LEGO books: the quality is amazing, the photos, sets, and minifigures are outstanding as well, and a lot of these books come with an exclusive minifigure; in this case (spoiler alert), it's the Episode VI version of Emperor Palpatine.

This book is absolutely amazing: there are facts about the Dark Side of the Force that I didn't know or wasn't aware of - The Rule of Two, betrayals, and even the pages of the bounty hunters are amazingly detailed and factual, and while there is a sort of dark tone to this book, speech bubbles with jokes abound to bring the Dark Side to comedic light. ("It's called the Executor, NOT Executioner!")

All in all, one of LEGO's better and more factual books, and it will be a must for every LEGO fans' book shelf. "

Best Set I Will Ever Own

" I've been waiting a long time to get this set, at just the right moment. Now I have it, and it is AWESOME.

I'm surprised at all the different building styles used in this set, making it unique and setting it apart from all the other LEGO Movie sets.

Pros:
Good and challenging build.
unique minifigures with exclusive or rare pieces.
LORD BUSINESS!!!

Cons:

The only one: stickers.

Overall, a real challenge, and also comes with a brick separator; a tool real life master builders use to take apart their creations: we're going to need it for the bigger, more challenging sets. 1,000/10!

Trying Out Mixels for the First Time

" And I was not disappointed! Not that I've seen the show, but the makers probably took one look and thought that these two franchises would work well together. They were right.

This is only Series 1, but they got my attention right away. New pieces allow more articulation. And at least 1 mixel from each tribe come with a nixel. Vulk is one of them, and a good starter for this theme.

Pros:
1. New pieces for articulation.
2. Rare and/or new pieces.
3. The right amount of pieces.

Cons:
None.

All in all, great fun and great build! "

ROCKA Stealth Machine

A Classic Theme With a Twist

" I've been a Hero Factory fan since the Breakout series (when it was at its best) and never tried to give it up. However, when the new Invasion from Below came out, I was skeptical, partly because of the idea, but mostly because it looked like the Exo-Force sets. But I was not disappointed. I was more than pleased.

But, most of all, I was surprised.

I first got Furno's Jet Machine, and was so surprised (mostly because it was Furno's machine that was figure-sized), I decided to get another one. This one (mostly because I'm attracted to the gold ones).

Rocka's Stealth Machine is absolutely a pleaser. From the grabbing claw to the canister to even the minifigure version of the Hero, it sure will catch the eye of a child, a Hero Factory fan, or even a minifigure collector like me.
