Love it!
" This is by far the best version of the standard TIE fighter. This isn't just another rehash of the old models, but a complete redesign. It doesn't have any of the instability inherent in the other versions.
The Good Stuff:
-The main body design is cleaner than the prior versions.
-The double-hinged canopy is much nicer than the previous single hinge
-The rounded dome is great (now I want to retrofit my other TIE fighters)
-The "wings" are much more stable thanks to a simple 3-point connection to the main body
-The pilot has a face now! :)
-Three other minifigs, what's not to love about that? The Death Star trooper even has an alternate expression.
-No blue pieces! :)
There's nothing not to like with this one. It's hard to think of something which wasn't improved from the prior model. There's even a chair for the pilot this time. This is a must-have for any Imperial fleet. "

Another Great Set
" I love the Jedi starfighters, so I was excited to see this one come out. Lego made some nice changes to update the look of the fighter. The wings have more of a solid feel to them, the canopy doesn't flip open when you roll the ship, and the over-all design is much closer to the movie version.
What I Liked:
-Anakin & Obi-Wan both have alternate expressions
-Design of the fighter
-Full-body R2
-The platform and droid for recreating the lightsaber battle
Didn't Like:
-Nute Gunray. He definitely belongs with this set, but give the poor guy some real legs. If you really want to do the robes look, give him a cape or something. The sloped brick doesn't do it for me.
-I wish Lego would put a little more effort into making the under-side of the models look a bit cleaner. It's not that hard, just a few more well-placed bricks would keep it looking great on top and bottom.
In short, a great set with lots of playability. It scores a strong 9/10 in my book. "

Great Set!
" This is a great addition to the Hoth sets. There are lots of features to play with and it works well with the Wampa Cave (#8089).
What I Liked:
-8 minifigs. Can't complain there. Leia and Luke both have alternate expressions. Han comes with hair and a parka hood. R-3PO and 2-1B are great additions as well
-Tauntaun figure
-There's no wasted space, everything on the set does something.
What I'd Like to Change:
-The only thing on my wish list is that the Hoth sets would somehow physically link together, especially the Hoth Playset (#7666). The sliding doors on 7666 would go very well with this one.
I'd recommend this set to anyone. Now, when do we get the shield generator? :) "

Fun Build
" After seeing this in a couple of the Clone Wars episodes, I figured it would eventually make its way to a Lego set. This one is a great add to your Republic fleet. It's a fun build and has great play value.
Loved:
-Green lightsabers for the Jedi, not the old yellow ones
-Commander Wolffe
-Jedi minifigs
Didn't really care for:
-the bomb drop system. I'm not really a fan of flick-fire missiles or bombs
-Shortage of clone troopers. I would've traded Eeth Koth for another Wolfpack trooper. Hopefully they'll be available in a battle pack or another set soon
I haven't found any weaknesses in the design yet, it's holding up well to rugged play and is just plain fun. Republic fans should have this one in their collection. "

Nice Redesign
" This one is the third release of the Infiltrator and is an improvement over the previous version (#7663). The proportions are more accurate to the movie and the construction is sturdier.
What I liked:
-The cockpit section is better than the last version, rounder and feels more solid. The lightsaber storage is a nice touch too.
-The hatch doesn't come off when you open it like the last one did
-Nice retractable landing gear
-Liking the horns for Darth Maul (even get an extra set)
-Quigonn has a real green lightsaber this time
-Padme has an alternate facial expression
-Captain Panaka is a good add to the set
Didn't Like:
-The front "lid" flips up if you roll the ship (the Sith speeder falls out)
-The front section looks a little unfinished from the side or bottom
-The spy droids aren't supposed to drop out the bottom like bombs
It's a fun ship to fly and looks more intimidating than the last version did. If you don't already have one in your collection, I would definitely recommend this one. If you have #7663, this is better in many respects, but you'll have to decide if it is worth the price tag. "

A Fun Set
" I didn't think I'd like this one, but it's quite fun. The build is pretty straight-forward with enough variation to keep from getting bored. The rotating mechanism for the engine pods works very well and is easy to use.
I Really Like:
-It's nice to have more bounty hunters
-Very good features for such a small design. The hidden prisoner compartment, the holocron storage, rotating engine pods, the cockpit with removable weapon storage...
-No flick-fire missiles :)
-The ship design is very close to the original and the color scheme works very well.
Needs Improvement:
-The top of the cockpit swings open if the ship goes much further than 90 degrees from level. There needs to be some sort of latch or friction to keep it closed.
-I'm not a fan of the assassin droid. It just seems like a quick attempt to fill out the minifigures. I dont think anyone would've missed it if it had been left out.
-The weight of the engines tend to pull them down from "flight mode" if you're not holding onto the end of the ship
This is a fun ship to build and fly. Like many others, I wish the cockpit was large enough to hold another minifig, but I'll get over it. I would definitely recommend this set. "
