"Voltix is by far the best villain from 2012. With cool equipment and new pieces, this villain is worth the money. Let's look at the pros… One pro is the rotating electric whip (awesome) . This allows for some great playability. Some other pros are the electricity pieces on his back and head, and the much coveted, exclusive purple pieces. Purple rarely shows up in Lego sets, so this was a nice little surprise. The ball shooter is also a cool function. However, its easy to lose the ball. As far as armor goes, Voltix is decently armored throughout his body. Now, lets look at the cons… The only con is that Voltix lacks any real hands. The picture I took shows the hand Lego should've used vs. the actual hand they used. However, if you have the right parts, you can easily fix that.
Summary: Pros: Purple pieces, electric whip, ball shooter, good armor coverage Cons: no hands Piece variety: 10/10 parts are great for making your own creations! Overall Look: 10/10"

Hand Lego should've used vs. hand they actually used
"This is the best Stringer Lego has ever made… to date. at first, I was surprised that they changed his color scheme from black and orange to black and blue. But in the end, the colors actually go really well together! Let's look at the pros… I would have to say that the pros are the guitar weapon (awesome) and the new, exclusive shoulder armor. I also love the transparent blue body piece, which looks really cool. Another good thing is the helmet, which looks nice on this figure. Now, lets look at the cons… The only two cons about this set are the back, and the size. lego has a habit of leaving the smaller figures' backs open. This makes Stringer's back look weird, especially with a transparent body piece (see pic). Another con is the size. I personally wish Stringer were larger. With the figure having so much potential, Lego should've gone all out on this one. sure, it would've made him more expensive, but it would be worth it.
Summary: Pros: transparent body piece, shoulder armor, guitar weapon, helmet Cons: exposed back, small size Piece variety: 9/10 Exclusive torso, shoulder armor, plus cool pieces that make up gun Overall Look: 10/10"
"This is an outstanding set. Lego hasn't made a rebel Y-Wing sice 2007, so I'm glad that they brought one out. The set is reasonably priced (458 for $49.99 is a good deal). Princess Leia looks awesome and makes a great addition if you're trying to recreate the celebration scene at the end of Episode IV . The astromech droid also looks good with the new head piece. And finally there is Gold Leader. He is actually just a normal rebel pilot minifigure with a new helmet. Despite the lack of new pieces in this minifigure, he is still very cool because of the new and exclusive helmet (see pic). Now, onto the set itself. The missile launchers and the bomb dropping function make for great playability. However there are a lot of tiny details that are easy to miss while building the main body of the ship. Also, there is no place to store Gold Leader's gun. Besides this, it is great set with lots of playability, good minifigures, and a reasonable price."

A comparison of Zev Senesca (2010), a normal rebel pilot (2011), and Gold Leader.
"This is a great set. $20 for a 222 piece set is a very good deal. The minifigures are also great. Though Yoda may look the same as his minifigure from the 2011 Republic Frigate, he isn't. In the AT-RT, Yoda has white hair and his torso printing has changed (check out my pictures to see the comparison). The 501st legion clone trooper looks very cool with the new helmet and the blue printing. Now, on to the droids. The sniper droideka looks cool, but the only problem is that it can't fold up like other droidekas. The commando droid captain also looks cool with its new head printing. It is also a good addition if you are trying to create an army of commando droids. However, I wish that Lego would've included a vibro-sword with the droid. In the Clone Wars TV series the commando droid captains always carry vibro-swords. If you want to add a sword, I suggest using a Lord of the Rings Uruk-Hai sword (see my picture). Now, on to the set itself. I think it looks very realistic with the brick-built feet and the armor. I also like the back piece (see picture), which was used in the 1999 Lightsaber Dual set, but in tan. Overall, this is a very good set and I highly recommend it."

"I simply love this set, for 3 reasons- #1, the awesome minifigures, #2, the AMAZING sarlaac, and #3, the fact that they haven't made a desert skiff since 2006 (years before I got interested in Lego's). I got the Slave VI in 2010 and the Boba Fett minifigure was great. But when I see the new redesigned Boba Fett, I now think the 2010 version is nothing compared to the new one. Also, I think Lando's new face looks great to. The only con of the set is that they didn't include nearly enough clear pieces to support the skiff. In Return of the Jedi, the skiff is about 50 feet above the Sarlaac's mouth. In the set, the skiff is right next to the Sarlaac's mouth. Despite the con I just mentioned, I think this is a great set and would suggest you buy it."
