Light up your world!
" These little LED lights are a great way to take your models to the next level. I'm building a new 1:13 Kenworth and I'm planning on using 4 or 5 of these sets. They give off a very bright light and they easily attach to plates or insert into Technic holes. Nice product. "

Raises the "fun" bar
" The IR Remote Control is great for controlling your models from a distance. (Obviously, the IR receivers are necessary to use it.) The remote is quite small - maybe even too small - and it's got lots of places to attach it to other parts. So you could basically build your own controls. The reception could be better - you must have an unobstructed path to the receiver. But this is definitely a nice addition to your Power Functions collection. "

A great addition
" I like these remote receivers. They're fairly compact (about the size of an old mini motor) and each one can control 2 functions. They also have 4 channels. They're quite handy, especially for moving objects or things where you couldn't easily access a power switch. I do wish the reception was a touch better, but it works fine as long as you point the remote straight at the receiver. Definitely a good buy. "

Very Handy
" This is a must-have with the Power Functions setup. The switch works nicely and can be fairly easily attached. Also, the cable is a nice length and can be increase your span from the battery box. "

Nice battery box
" This is a good battery box. It like how the light comes on to indicate the juice is flowing. The switch is smooth-working, although it's easy to slide it too far and accidentally reverse the direction. Removing the battery covers is easy enough, but I'm concerned about removing the top batteries - seems like pretty tight quarters. The box is fairly easy to attach to newer models, not so much on old Technic sets. Recommended overall. "

Enter Power Functions
" This kit is a great way to become familiar with Power Functions, especially if you are used to the old 9V motors. The motor itself is the so-called "medium" motor. It's a little more powerful than a mini motor and takes up less space. It is a bit difficult to attach to your model, however. The battery pack is nice, and I like that it lights up when the power's on. The polarity switch is handy, and the LED lights are really nice. My general complaint with the kit is that it comes with only a few extra parts and basically no instructions. I would add a whole compliment of gears and an instruction book like 8721 and 8735 had. It'd also be nice if it came with an extension cable. But it does come with a few of those new 3-stud UV joints, and they're nifty. Overall, this is a good product if you already have lots of gears on hand and can use them well. "

A great motor
" I've been very pleased with the XL motor - I have two in my 8275 Bulldozer and another one on a chassis I'm making myself. The motor is quite powerful - I believe I read it was about 6x as powerful as a 9V mini motor - and it holds up well under load. It's a bit noisy, but that can be expected since it's obviously geared down. My only two complaints are 1) the power cord is a bit short, and 2) it's awkward to attach to models, especially older "studded" ones. Overall, this is a great motor and it's a good value, too. "

LEGO Hard To Find: Eiffel Tower 1:300
LEGO Hard To Find: Eiffel Tower 1:300
Created by popular demand, the LEGO Eiffel Tower is a stunning model for construction and display, built to 1:300 scale from the real tower's original blueprints. From the flag at the top to the elevators and other realistic details, this is as authentic as it gets. Eiffel Tower stands 42.5" (108 cm) high and base measures 20" x 20" (50 cm x 50 cm)! Can be disassembled in 3 sections for easy transport and storage!

A masterpiece!
" This is one serious Lego set, just perfect for experienced builders. I consider myself a good builder and it still took me a good 5-5.5 hours of work. The model is very impressive at its finished height - few things will stand taller. Heck, it's almost as tall as my Christmas tree. The model uses a few clever techniques and overall is very beautiful. I will say that the instruction manual wasn't the best I've seen, and the parts should've been organized better. But don't let that stop you - this is an excellent choice. "
