"I got 3 sets, so I could build the big picture. I didn't try the app, as I was so disappointed in the one that came with the Beatles sets, and I saw from other reviews that this was similar. I was happy to see that the box insert that holds the instruction book has been changed and didn't damage the book like the Beatles sets did. Although I was happy with the finished picture, the build wasn't as enjoyable. As I stated in my Beatles review, for some reason these use 1X1 round plates instead of the 1X1 round tiles that the Beatles set uses. I found this to be harder on my fingers. The other issue I have with this set is that the Instructions for the ultimate build are not setup to be printed, unless you are willing to go through a ton of black ink, or take time to convert each page to get rid of the black background. I also think the price is a little high, and the only reason I still bought 3 was because of the VIP points I received and used."
"These Look fantastic when completed. I have already built both John and Paul, I'm just waiting for two more to arrive so I can complete the set with George and Ringo. I do have some complaints however. First, the way the instructions are held in the box causes damage to the corners. Second, Why use the red 2x2 corners on the back instead of just using more of the white 2x2 squares or bigger plates? I found that the red bricks popped off a lot until the frame is done. Next, It would have been nice if the tile bags were numbered according to color. My biggest complaint has to do with the app. I was expecting to hear some actual music, not a pod cast of two people talking about the White album. Finally, I have as question, Why do the Beatles and Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe use tiles while the Star Wars and Iron-man sets use plates?"
