Another Great Modular
" Packed with details and building techniques, and I love the subtle humor of having a laundry tied in with a bank.
My only improvement for this (and all modulars) would be to add in a few 2 x 4 light grey jumper plates for the sidewalks. It would be nice to be able to stand and pose minifigures on the sidewalk without them falling over.
This would allow me to give the play experience a 5 brick rating instead of a 4 brick rating.

Best TIE Fighter Yet
" This is the best TIE Fighter Lego has produced to date. 9492 was a great step up from the previous "fall apart if you look at them wrong" designs, but this new First Order TIE Fighter takes the good parts of 9492, and the "Rebels" TIE Advanced prototype, and fixes most of those ships problems.
Pros:
Very stable (it is very important to make sure the wings are completely clipped on, though. It is easy to hear one click and think you've got it when you actually do not have it secured)
TIE Pilot minifigs. They look fantastic.
New TIE canopy and windscreen pieces. Major improvement over previous designs.
Nice integration of missile shooters into the design.
Cons:
PRICE! Too expensive, even for Star Wars. The value is not there.
Officer and fleet trooper minifigs. They are OK, but I wish one was replaced with a Stormtrooper. This change alone would have made the price more acceptable.
The insides of the wings need more detailing.
Getting minifigs in/out is a little difficult, but I'll take that trade for the nice detailing and sturdy build.
My recommendation is to get this set on sale or cash in some VIP points. Its a great set, but a tough buy at $70. "

Present Your Weapon For Inspection!
" This is the first and only buildable Lego action figure I have purchased. None of the others llike Bionicle, Hero Factory and even Star Wars have gotten my attention, until I saw this beauty on display.
This is a great looking figure! The helmet detail is superb, the cape is wonderful and the blaster is cool. The chest armor is also nice. The feet are disappointing in their proportions, but I understand they are made that way to help with stability. The silver grey peg to hold the BLACK cape is a head scratcher, but I found a black peg in my parts to fix that problem.
Now, the color... Lots of complaints about this figure not being chrome. Yes, the real character is a very shiny silver, almost chrome. However, having some Lego minifigure lightsaber handles finished in chrome, I can tell you the chrome wears off eventually. The silver grey used on this Captain Phasma figure is a very acceptable compromise, and I think it looks good. In the movie, Phasma is usually seen in dark places (star destroyer bridge, the village at night, starkiller base hallways), so she has a dark, shadowy look to her.
I really enjoy having this figure on display, I think I will add two First Order Stormtroopers to complement her. "
