Ford Mustang
" As I consider the Mustang to be among the quintessential Cool Cars, I knew I had to get this when I saw it. It's a pretty darn accurate representation of the 2015/2016 model, helped along by too many stickers (yeah, I know, it's a common complaint).
The overall shape is really nice; pretty smooth without losing the Lego feel to it. I don't personally like the white stripe very much, but I'll admit it's executed pretty well. You can see from the official pictures that the side window stickers have a bit of a gap between them and the windshield piece, but you can easily fix this by placing them right up against the sides of their pieces.
I was worried about the rear being sort of broken-up, and if you actually feel it you'll find it's not very smooth, but I was surprised at how smooth it appears to be. I guess shadows combined with black pieces will do that. Overall, the rear looks very good. I especially like the 3D exhaust pipes.
That said, it's not perfect. The headlights, especially. Due to the very slight slope of the piece they're stuck on, they're not very visible from the front. They look good from the sides, though.
Due to Lego's apparent policy of leaving a little "wiggle room" on stickers, some parts don't line up very well and have small gaps: specifically, the lower grill and rear window (just look at the pictures).
As with the other Speed Champions cars, the windshield/roof looks just a little too narrow, mainly from the front. If it was just one stud wider, it'd be great, but that would necessitate several new molds, which are expensive.
Despite these complaints, I do recommend this to anyone who likes Mustangs, or even just cars. "

Modern vs. Classic
" First off, I really like the concept of this set, with the modern Camaro racing the old, but modified one. I especially like the supercharged engine sticking out of the hood, interchangeable with whatever the other thing is (I'm not a huge car nut). The 2016 Camaro is probably more high-tech, but the 1969 Camaro's mods might just give it the edge in a drag race.
It's also a great value. Let me break it down:
-Normal Speed Champs car: $14.99 USD (MSRP)
-This set, which has two and also another thing: $29.99 USD (MSRP)
So, each car is worth $15, and you also get the starting line, which has some very useful pieces.
I do have two complaints, which really apply to the entire theme and not just this set.
The first is that if you look at a SC car from straight-on, the windshield really looks kinda narrow, at four studs wide. If it was possible, five would be better, but they'd have to make a few new pieces for that, and making molds is expensive.
The second is the sheer amount of stickers! There are so many! I wouldn't expect all the pieces to have printing instead, but they do do a few, at least.
Lastly, one minor gripe about the '69 car:
The racing stripes, due to Lego's apparent sticker policy of leaving a little bit of room, really look more like a really fat white stripe with a black dotted line down the middle. If you're willing to draw on the pieces with a black marker, though, this can be fixed.
Overall, I would say that this is definitely worth buying for any Lego fan who likes cars. Even if you don't like the designs, the pieces are invaluable for any builder.
And, to conclude, I just want to mention that the '69 Camaro is, without a doubt, way illegal to drive on the streets. "

Toa of Fire
" When I found out that Bionicle was returning, I immediately started setting aside a little bit of money every time I got some. I mostly had Tahu in mind.
Anyway, I must say, I am only slightly disappointed with this new incarnation. The gear system is quite well-done, and the "backpack" that holds it all together doesn't protrude too much. I really like the swords, especially that they're not as rubbery as some other silver weapons (though still not as strong as normal pieces), and the internal flame elements look nice. I'm personally not a fan of the serration, though. Not for a sword. Maybe an axe. Swords should slice.
Tahu doesn't have the "only looks good from the front" issue that most of the Hero Factory sets did, and, honestly, looks pretty good even from the back. However, his calves...they look awful from almost any angle (I think they're too broad, to be honest). I'm trying to fix it in a way that doesn't lose any flexibility, but I have nothing, at least so far.
Pros:
-Very fire-y
-Mask is a nice update to the original
-Armor looks good
-Weapons look good
-Both arms swing w/ gear functions
-He looks like a Samurai
-Broadswords fit together nicely (for lavaboard)
-Smaller swords for when he's surfing (they even go on his back!)
Cons:
-Calves look terrible, especially from behind
-Shoulder-pads get in the way
-Hands & feet are silver (I'd prefer them red)
-Chest design would look much more Bionicle-y molded
In conclusion, I recommend. "

Bionicle - enough said
" Ever since 2010, I have waited for Bionicle to come back.
Ever since 2009, I have waited for Bionicle to be awesome again.
And this new generation fully fulfills both of those.
I love that the masks are interesting again, and can pop off again, as opposed to the Glatorians' helmets...but at least those didn't have a separate axle that had to be put in the mask.
But I rant, and stray farther from the subject.
Protector of Fire, at $10 (by default in my home area), is just as expensive as some of the Hero Factory guys, but more compact, compound and complex. I like the new gun-things and the transparent armor pieces, but I wish the masks had a little more individuality, and, to be honest, I'm not sure how the weapons are supposed to be used, but they look good none-the-less.
"Too long; Didn't read" version:
Pros:
-Transparent parts look neat
-Gun works nicely
-Bionicle
-Dual-color mask reminds me of Metru-Nui
-Green Skull-Spiders look the most like headcrabs
-Bionicle
-Looks strong
-It's Bionicle
Cons (yes, I love Bionicle, but I can still find honest criticism):
-Stockiness limits movement
-Skull-Spiders? Really? I just call them "Skull-Krana" or simply "headcrabs"
-Protector of Fire? Really? I named mine "Stiny"
-Gun is fun, but ultimately useless in terms of rescuing those with Krana on their heads
TL;DR version:
Wheee, Bionicle! Take my money, Lego!

Odd shape for an aircraft carrier
" Welcome, my "loyal followers". Today, I am reviewing Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout (obviously). The Hulk, star of the set, is good, though a bit over-sized: In the movies, he's maybe 50% taller than a normal guy, although about a billion more muscular. One complaint I have about the Mega-minifigs (megafigs?) is how their elbows are bent at a 90 degree angle, meaning that they can't swing things very well if they're holding them. Moving on, however, this set is a lot of fun, but not that accurate. The entire holding tank was released in the movie, not just the front half.
I like the jet and all, I really do, but I dismantled it. I then used some of the parts to make a pretty epic F-22, which ended up much bigger than the jet included. Hawkeye is good, though I have two of him now, and Three Lokis. Loki's spear, as I mentioned in my review of the Cosmic Cube escape, is somewhat inaccurate to The Avengers, but more true to the comics and Thor (the movie, not the guy). Speaking of Thor, this is how I first got one of the main reasons I got this set, though I later got the Quinjet. His hammer is a new piece. The carrier itself has some room for improvement, and improve it I did. I added some more sections, similar to the ones included. Now, to the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Hulk (exclusive)
Thor (expensive)
Loki (excessive)
Hawkeye (I couldn't think of another word beginning with "ex")
Command center up top
A button opens the cell
Little lab
Gas-tank launcher/catapult works surprisingly well
Cons:
A Nick Fury minifig woulda been nice
A Bruce Banner minifig woulda been nice
Loki's helmet is rubber
Cell is somewhat inaccurate overall
Well, I guess that's all.
This is Lord Jarfulous TAHUcloNe, Signing Off!

Deadpool?
" Welcome to my review. First of all, I'm a little surprised (yet happy, as I am a big fan) that Deadpool is in a Lego set for children. Of all the PG-13 characters Lego has put in sets, Deadpool just transcends that (he's definitely R-rated). Read one of his comics (if you dare), you'll know what I mean. On to the set. Wolverine's bike is very neat. The body is something I haven't seen before, maybe even exclusive. Also, I figured out that you can put his claws on the sides, to serve as storage and a kickstand. It's great to have Magneto in a set with Wolverine, as wolvie's skeleton has metal in it, and...well, do the math.
Deadpool's helicopter has some storage in the back, which I like. I also have the Iron Man 3 mansion, and its helicopter has Zero storage back there, except the wings. The missile launchers can tilt Up & Down, which is nice. I also like that the missiles are just Silver, instead of neon yellow or something. It helps them blend in. Deadpool's katanas can clip to the wings/launchers, which adds a nice effect. The minifigs themselves are very true to the comics (Magneto even has a disc to fly around on), although I'm getting a little tired of the A.D.U.'s laser pistols being used in place of normal ones. One thing that bugs me is that in the "Comic Adventure" it looks like Wolverine is just whacking stuff with his claws instead of slicing them (the same goes for the box art). Well, I'll get to the Pros & Cons, with the Pros first as usual.
Pros:
A cool helicopter
Deadpool
Magneto
Wolverine
A cool bike
Storage
No stickers
Cons:
S.O.L.P. (Same Old Laser Pistol)
Flick missiles
Wolverine could use a mask

Biggest Avengers Set
" This is, as the title says, the biggest Avengers set. I think it's worth the money, but that's hard to say, as I received it as a gift. It has a couple of seats in front, a big compartment in back, big enough to hold all the Avengers. (except Hulk, obviously. He's huge.) My main complaint is the Black Widow. Her hair isn't the right color, or even shape (it did have this shape in Iron Man 2, but it was shorter in The Avengers), as it is supposed to be red. And I mean literally red, not orange. Loki is good, though his helmet is a bit too big and rubbery (the rubberyness makes it easily fall off). I do have three of him now, which I guess is good, because he can make holograms of himself. It's good to have another Thor, as my sister really likes him, and now she can have one too. His hammer is a cool mold, and his hair is just the right shape, though I think the "normal" blond color would be better. Iron Man, Mk VII, is quite good. His faceplate can hinge open, which is very neat. His chest reactor is round, as opposed to the Mk VI's, which is triangular.
The alien soldier is cool, but not incredibly movie accurate. I also wish he had a gun, but I made my own for him. Now, the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Iron Man Mk VII
Thor
Nice sitting space
Cockpit has cool controls
Black Widow only comes with this
Alien dude
Another Loki
Plenty of room in back
A cool flying...thing...can deploy
Cons:
Only one soldier
Black widow could use some accessories (guns, maybe)
The infamous Flick Missiles
Overall, more Good than Bad, which is Good enough for me.
Well then, this is TAHUcloNe, Signing Off!

I'm having too much fun
" How do you start a review? I can't remember, so I started mine with a Question. This is a very good set, and quite accurate to the movie. It does include Dum-e, one of Tony Stark's few failures, and he (it?) has his signature weapon: a Fire Extinguisher. The helicopter is very cool, with a good color scheme, although, as others have noted, it has no controls (easily fixed, but I haven't yet). It's nice to have minifigs of Tony and Pepper, though I think it would be nice to have a plain "serious" face for Tony, as he only has Happy, Sad, and Very Angry ones. The House, as in the movies, has quite interesting architecture. It has a little kitchen, a work area with tools, a computer, and places to put the marks VI and VII, which can blow up. The glowing Extremis guy is cool, and the head doesn't take long to charge. The Mandarin may not have been in this scene, but it's cool to have his "Normal" version. It's also cool that it comes with the Mark V suitcase. Well, I'll get to the Pros and Cons now.
Pros:
House (In general)
Helicopter
Mark XLII (42) Armor
Tony and Pepper minifigs
Explosion Functions
Places to put older armor
Spinny computer
Cons:
Suitcase, but no Suit (what's the point?)
Tony's face in this set looks like a bandit
Kinda cramped in places
Copter's (FLICK) missiles don't retract
Well, That's all I can think of, but I'm sure there's something else, so
TAHUcloNe, Signing Off. I hope this is helpful.

Good Set overall
" I Ordered this a while ago, and it Finally (after Memorial Day weekend) Came in the Mail 2 days before this was written. It is a Very Good set, with a Fairly quick build, and the $20 sets are Right in my Price Range. The Iron Man minifigure is Awesome, though in the movie, He was not in this scene. The Helmet is Very Good, and, Fortunately, NOT Made of Rubber.
Hawkeye is Pretty good, But in the Movie, his Hairstyle was Much Different, He Didn't have the Glasses (though I think they're cool), Nor the Compound Bow, just a normal bow, though the Compond one is very cool, as well as a New Piece.
Loki is Great, and though his Spear doesn't look at all like it does in the Movie, it resembles it's Comic Counterpart a bit, Though I would have appreciated a New Piece. Also, his horns are a little too big. His Helmet Is made of Rubber, unlike Tony's.
The Truck itself is Great, and a Good size, though I am not a fan of Flick Missiles in general. The feature where you can knock Loki off works OK, but sometimes he will run into my Finger.
It would have been cool if it came with a little Helicopter and Nick Fury, 'cause he doesn't come with anything (yet)...
Now on to the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Iron Man Mk. 6 is an Exclusive
Good Price
Cosmic Cube (aka Tesseract)
Launching thingy in Truck
Loki's Spear is Cool
Hawkeye
Loki's Green Cape
Truck is Very Detailed
Cons:
Cosmic Cube is too Simple (clear 1x1 brick)
Hawkeye's Glasses, Hair, and Bow aren't right
Iron Man should have a little more Gold
Final Notes:
Overall, this is a Great set that I would Definitely Recommend to a Friend. And I think Hawkeye Did have a Compound in Thor.
Thanks for Reading,
-TAHUcloNe

Full of Happy
" I got this Train yesterday, and I Love It!! It takes a while to Build, I'd say probably 2-4 Hours, Depending on how Long You've been Building with LEGO. Build was fun, Nicely challenging, And Little to No Tedious-ness, Something uncommon among the Larger sets. The Remote works well, though it can be a little sensitive sometimes. All the speeds are Great, though it started Sliding the track around (on wooden floor) at Speed 7, and I think that if I let it go at 7 for a little bit, it would have Derailed. One thing worth noting is that Unlike Most Train sets, the Motor is in the Front of the Engine, though it's Incredibly easy to put it in the back while building if You want it to be a little more Old-Style. The Tipper (hopper?) car works well, but Sometimes a few rocks will spill when Unloading them into the little Thing at the side of the Tracks. The Flatbed Car has a cool little Crane, as well as some Old-style rails for the Train-Track-Truck to fit on, The one bad/weird thing being that the Crane Operator faces AWAY from the crane when sitting at the controls (fixable of course). The Box Car that holds the Toxic Gack is very cool with the Sliding Doors, And I the Soothsayer Says that the Gack is bound to spill soon.....
Now the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
-Very Fast!
-Runs Smoothly!
-Train-Track-Truck (with flippin' wheels)!
-LOADS Of Track!
-Conveyor Belt!
-Details! VERY MANY DETAILS!!
-All the PF You Need!
-Rare Pieces!
Cons:
-Train-Track-Truck's License Plate has the Same I.D. Number as the one on the engine (3677, the item #).
-Flatbed Cab Seat = backwards.
-Doors on box car are a little hard to shut.
-No more cons.
Thanks for Reading!
P.S.
It runs over Minifigs quite well...*evil grin*
P.P.S.
I Don't see why so many people hate the Flex Track so much. In My opinion, they're Good. Quite Good.
