Very impressive and captured beauty of SF
" It’s a quick and easy build, just like the other architecture sets. The end result is stunning for the city. I think the designer did as good of a job as he/she can for the Golden Gate Bridge considering the limited space and pieces. With that said, I hated the fact the instruction manual has black background. With the reflection of the light above, it was a nightmare to follow the instruction with black, brown and dark green pieces. There is a reason why all the books use white background and black letters!
One design criticism: the red hook between two bridge towers are not centered. That bothers me quite bit! It is a easy fix. Not sure if it is by design or was over looked.

What a great job by the designers!
" A couple years ago I was "wow"ed by 911, but this one is even better. What a great job by the designers. I especially like the Technical Podcast while building the Bugatti. The designers have done so much work and it really showed in the final product. I used to be a Star Wars fan, but now I am a technical fan. No other Lego themes can match the difficulties that technical sets have. The Bugatti Chiron is definitely the best one YET! I can not wait to see what's coming next after the Chiron! Maybe a Lamborghini, McLaren, or Ferrari? :D "

A good representation of my hometown
" Lego did a good job here for my hometown. I will proudly display it on my office desk. The building experience was very interesting, especially how the shanghai tower was twisted. The one negative is that Jin Mao Tower is not included. Overall job well done, Lego. "

The best Falcon yet
" Besides the obvious, this set will require an extended building time to do and a large space to display once finished. There are a lot of improvements for this set over the 2007 falcon, but I wanted more for the price tag of $800. I am very impressed with this set overall, however, there are three things I wish the designers would've done better.
1. Only two interior rooms. One large empty room was left untouched. There are so many possibilities for that large empty space!
2. The minifigures are just average. For $800, we deserve some limited edition minifigures.
3. STICKERS! I am the number one hater for stickers! Again, for $800, we deserve all printed bricks and NO STCIKERS!
I would've paid $1000 if it means limited edition minifigures, no stickers and fully finished interiors (Not half finished).
Lego wanted a home run with this set, but instead it is a double. Well, I guess there is always another 10 years! :P "

The Best Modular Building Yet
" This is hands down the best modular building YET. It's the largest by piece count, the most detailed by design, and the most diversified by rooms. There are 8 different rooms packed in this set. More impressively, each room has very detail and elegant elements. I am WOWed by the designer. However, it is the most expensive modular set YET, so I only give 3 stars for "Value for Money". $250 is a more reasonable price IMHO considering most pieces are very small. All in all, I strongly recommend this set to any Lego loving fan. I am looking forward to the future modular buildings! "

Very Challenging Build, but has flaws
" This is the most difficult Lego set I have ever built and I have built hundreds of them. If you want to challenge yourself, this is the set to do it. For $270 + tax, you get almost 4000 pieces. However, a good portion of them are just nuts and bolts, which is very typical for Lego Technic sets. Considering the size of this set, it needs hundreds of nuts and bolts to hold it together. The part I like the most about this set is definitely the building experience. It was a fantastic 10 hour building experience. I had a blast. Thank you Lego!
With that said, there are few flaws. The biggest one of them is the design of the transportation belt. It is meant to carry small pieces, but since there are small 'steps" build in on the transportation belt, the small pieces will fall off every once a while in between small "steps" right after they are dumped on the transportation belt.... A leaky system to say the least.
All in all, I would recommend this set. The real challenge is where to store it.... :D

Lego did Caterham justice
" I was really excited when I first heard Lego Idea choose Caterham. The build was pretty easy and took me only 3 hours while watching Sunday Night Football. This set is meant for display since some parts of the Caterham body fall apart easily (The reason I only give 4 stars instead of 5). I recommend this set because Lego did Caterham justice in the limited pieces available. It looks great on our tea table. "

Good, but not great
" First of all, Lego did an awesome job on the box. It is the best "box opening" experience I have ever had with Lego. I like the pictures of older 911 models on the insider edge of the box. What a smart touch there.
It took me 3 weekday nights to put it together, so it does take a considerable time due to it's large size. I like a lot of design of the model, especially the gear box and wheel turning. However, if you don't know it yet, there is an error on the instruction manual which Lego stated "they did it on purpose...." Please switch step 267 and 269. By doing so, your gear box will go sequential 1-2-3-4. One other complain I have is the angle of the manual. For some steps I have to guess the construction due to the viewing angle of the manual.
The biggest issue I have is the STCIKERS! Come on Lego... Please eliminate all stickers for larger set from now on. It kills me to put on a 1x1 Porsche logo sticker...
Overall, $300 is a little pricy for a regular Joe, but it is worth the money considering all the time and effect Lego put into this set. It is a well thought set and for that, Lego deserves a lot of credits. I am looking forward to youtube video for RC function add-ons.

Very Detailed Design Avoid if you have fat finger.
" I just finished it. It was an awesome experience overall since it is the biggest set I have ever put together. I am a fast builder, but it still took me 18 hours to finish.
Pros:
1. Highlight for new pieces on instruction page
2. Very detailed mini figs
3. Very detailed interior design
Cons:
1. STICKERS! Some of the bricks were printed, but still has 25 stickers.....
2. Very detailed interior design means very small lego pieces. This set is not for you if you have fat fingers
3. Once the building is done, it is not very stable if you want to move it to your display location, since the very bottom layout is bendable to start with. I recommend you build it somewhere near your display location if not on it.
P.S. Why only half of the bricks were in boxes? Did you run out of boxes, Lego? "

Good play value and family fun time!
" It took me and my nephew a total of 9 hours to build it on the release day. The set overall is a major improvement over the old set. However there are a few things lego could've done better with $299 price tag.
1. Enough with the stickers! Please just print them on the block for all UCS sets please!
2. The instruction book was hard to read b/c the color in the background is too close to brown. After hours of building and staring at it, I felt headache. Simple whitle background will do in this case...
3. What's up with all mini figs in different number of bags? I love the idea of getting all the mini fig in the beginning, so that the kids can play with them while we build together. In this set, they give you mini fig a couple at a time as your build goes.
