Almost Perfect
" I grew up with the US space program. Clearly remember the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. I tracked the shuttle program from its first flight till it retired in 2011. Was outside looking skyward by chance the morning the space shuttle Challenger broke up over the skies of Texas.
This model is the best example so far by lego to reproduce the shuttle and amazingly is constructed with the basic building blocks I have seen in kits for the last 40 years. The build is easy and not as time consuming as other kits. The final product is worthy of any display case.
I agree with other builders that the silver painted pieces are not up to the usual lego quality and the stickers are a real challenge to apply.
I am disappointed the the Canadarm is not as detailed as it could have been and is not marked with the Canadian flag.
There would be no Hubble deployment without the Canadarm and I think this was an oversight by lego engineers. "

So nice...I bought it twice!
" I purchased and built this kit when it first came out. I recently retired, gave my lego kits away, sold one of my real Porsche's (911 Carrera) and moved to a different country. Having now settled in, I realized how much I missed my Lego's so I decided to repurchase the 911RSR kit. The last three days brought back all of the excitement I had building the model for the first time and the fun I had driving the actual car.
