One Of The Best Sets Ever
" This is my most memorable scene when I look back on seeing Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace as a kid.
The reason why it took thirty minutes to build was because I like to watch some TV while building this. You could probably build it in half the time it took me undistracted.
The designer(s) just about got everything right with this set. Laser door? Check. Bottomless pit of doom that isn't actually bottomless? Check. Action feature to make Obi-Wan flip out of the pit? Yep!
There are only a couple of things I can think could be improved upon. First, Darth Maul's lightsaber. It's just another lightsaber piece, there's nothing unique about it. I understand that it's just to save money from having to make a custom one, but I think Maul deserves a more accurate representation of his now iconic double-bladed lightsaber. After all, it's hard to say when we'll see another version of this set ever again.
The only other thing I think could have been improved on was maybe another wall piece. Again, this was probably for price reasons, but give us another wall. I know that stickers/decals are annoying to apply, but just one wall makes the set look a bit incomplete.
Aside from the set's minor flaws, this is a great set. I really recommend it to any fan of Episode I. "

" I originally saw this set at a Costco store, but couldn't get it at the time as I didn't have a membership. So today, I finally got it at a Walmart that carried it, the game, and the other Add-On packs. I was finally satisfied.
There's only one thing I really dislike about the set; the instructions. I open the box, pour out the contents, put Chell together, struggle a bit with the placement of the portal gun piece (it's made of a rubbery plastic that's annoying to work with), flip to the next page, and what? "Continue building using the in-game building instructions".
I know that this is an add-on for LEGO Dimensions, but is it really asking too much to include the rest of the instructions? So, I used the online instructions to complete the other pieces and all's good.
Overall if you have a copy of LEGO Dimensions, you'll be able to get the most out of this set. If not, well you can still get some value out of it by making some good PORTAL themed creations. "

Home "Improvement"
" If there is one thing you can learn from this set, it's this; always make sure to hire a licensed home renovator. Thus, this unfortunate homeowner has an acceptable reason to be in a state of panic.
This set is not only comedic to a certain degree, but also very convenient. Have a bunch of pens/pencils cluttering up your desk or office space? This is your answer. For a while I had been using my Vitruvius (from The LEGO Movie) collector's cup as a way of storing my pens, pencils, etc.
The pencil pot is cool both as a way to de-clutter your workspace and as an ornamental piece. Plus, it is still a LEGO set! You don't even have to use it as a way to store your writing utensils! That being said, if you want to turn it into a house, I can not recommend Pick-A-Brick enough.
About the only thing I can think of that should have been added to make this set better is a Brick Separator. While you can buy it separate (not pun intended), it makes sense as there are tiles in certain areas that are hard to remove manually such as the window well and the paving stones.
Overall, this set is great. I'm going to have this set together for a while. Until I realise that it's collecting an annoying amount of dust. "

A "Groundbreaking" Design
" If the Protector of Earth could review itself, it would probably scream something like "I fire little purple dots from my chest!" and then people like me who like to review LEGO products would be out of a job. Thankfully, that's not the case.
The design of the Earth Protector is pretty good. He feels more stable than 70783 Protector of Fire too. The drill spins alright, but one thing about this set has me scratching my head. What is the thing in his left hand? It could be a dagger, a stalactite, or some kind of artifact. That's what I like about LEGO; it leaves the answer up to your imagination.
Now, about the blaster. It kind of reminds me of the Cordak Blaster from the 2007 sets. The only thing is that once you place the yellow "core" inside of it, it can't be removed. If there is a way to remove it, I have not yet found it.
You do get 13 1x1 Round Plates for "ammo", but I strongly advise that if you are buying this set online by LEGO's shop at home site for a child who is going to want to play with it a lot, you might want to buy extra pieces via Pick A Brick. The studs shoot really far, making them easy to lose. From the Shop menu, just click THEMES > Pick A Brick > Then type " Plate 1X1 Round " in the field that says Brick Name under Advanced Search. I think the right colour is "M.LILAC"
Overall this set is worth the money, but if you really want to get the most out of it I recommend buying 70789 Onua - Master of Earth as well. "

Super Hot
" By "hot" I mean you will want to get this set before it becomes sold out are discontinued. Well then again, this guy surfs around on molten lava which is something I am completely unprepared to do.
There's two things I really like about this version of Tahu. Tahu has two sets of swords (one of which functions as his iconic lava surfboard),and his mask of shielding.
Other than that, I can't really think of anything else to add regarding this set alone. If you want to get the most out of it however, I recommend getting 70783 Protector of Fire as well. "

Definitely Not Itsy-Bitsy
" The first thing I should mention about this set is that it is huge. By huge I mean the it-fits-on-a-large-size-baseplate kind of huge. In fact, you may even want to make space for this model in advance before you put it together.
Something else I want to mention is that fans of printed pieces will be excited to know that there is ONE printed piece in this set; the spider's face. Out of the 2015 BIONICLE sets I've bought so far, the only set that I've had to apply decals to is Onua.
Not only is this set stable quality-wise, but the play function of this set is also pretty cool. Which brings me to my next point; the play feature uses a LEGO Technic elastic band to operate the play feature. The downside to this is that THERE IS NO SPARE INCLUDED. I don't think it will break on its own during play, but if it gets lost during construction, or something else happens to it, you're basically out of luck unless you order a new one.
Finally, you get a Skull Spider mask cast in pearl-gold which is a nice inclusion for the set. However, the only thing I dislike about it is that you don't get any leg pieces to make it into a Skull Spider.
Overall, I recommend it to any BIONICLE fans out there (including the ones who have a fear of spiders). "

Now You're Playing With Power. Fire Power!
" Sorry, but I had to do that joke. It just seems like a good way to start a review.
For the most part, it's a very good figure. The arms feel a bit flimsy though and that's mainly from them having to be attached on. Otherwise, it's very solid. I don't understand what's going on with his weapons, but luckily they're customizable.
Now, about the blaster. It kind of reminds me of the Cordak Blaster from the 2007 sets. The only thing is that once you place the yellow "core" inside of it, it can't be removed. If there is a way to remove it, I have not yet found it.

The studs shoot really far, making them easy to lose. From the Shop menu, just click THEMES > Pick A Brick > Then type "Round Plate 1X1 - Tr." in the field that says Brick Name under Advanced Search. I think the right colour is "TR.FL.REDORA"
Overall this set is worth the money, but if you really want to get the most out of it I recommend buying 70787 Tahu - Master of Fire as well. "

Onua Has Not Aged Well
" There is an old saying that some things get better with age. I wouldn't say that Onua was one of them in this case.
When I heard that BIONICLE was being re-released, I was excited. In this state I wanted to get my hands on one of the new sets, mainly Kopaka but I would settle for any of the other ones just in case to avoid disappointment (there were only two Onua sets left on the shelf). Little did I know, that's what I would end up feeling.
My main compaints are about the two things that made BIONICLE unique; the gears and the masks. I don't know if this was intentional to make it easier to pose the figures, but the gears take a bit more effort to turn than on the original figures. Now, about the mask. I understand that the whole "mask flying off feature" is supposed to be a play function of this set, but it just doesn't feel right to me. The mask comes off with too little effort whether you want it to or not. Plus, why is it so small?
Other than that, there's not much else I wish to add other than the fact I've changed my mind about getting Kopaka. For now. "

"Eris, I Shrunk Your Interceptor"
" "You did WHAT?!" Eris screamed in response. She was not amused.
Anyways yeah, this set is pretty much a smaller version of Eris' Eagle Interceptor in my opinion. In fact, I like it slightly better than the Interceptor because of the size. It definitely takes up less space, and doesn't take as long to build. So if you want something from the Chima line that doesn't take up a lot of space, I very much recommend this.
The only problem I could find in this set were the decals. I had no trouble applying the decals myself, but some builders may need a little bit of time and patience when applying them as they are pretty small.
Favourite parts: I think my favourite parts out of this set would have to be the CHI-Shield and the printed eagle eye part.
Overall: If you like Chima, mini-models, or both, I recommend checking this set out. "

"Damsel In Distress At Six O' Clock!"
" "Don't lose her!". Man, being a knight is not easy. But it is fun when you're flying a podracer-like contraption made out of a castle gate! WOO-HOO!
I admit, I haven't bought any of the Castle-themed sets yet. But this set makes me want to buy one and turn it into a bi-plane with the swords made into propellers. This set gives me those kinds of ideas.
I really like how there's a 2 in 1 function to this set. It gives you more imagination that way. The wheels on what I guess are turbines spin, the crossbows swivel left and right, and it has flick-fire missiles!
Overall, this is by far my favourite set out of the The LEGO® Movie line. Until I buy another one to review. "
