Woo Hoo Hoo Hoo.....What a Great Set
" I have to say, I was really excited to hear the announcement of this set. Then when they introduced it, the anticipation elevated like a bear riding a red balloon on a blustery day. I couldn't wait to assemble it when it finally arrived. I have to say, this is one of my all time favorite sets after completion. I know many would like to see all the characters in minifigure form (and I'm one also), but I'm quite satisfied with the selection. These are the primary characters that you would meet in the theme parks after all. Christopher Robin could be easily added anytime and the others would be a welcome addition in the future if ever created. I did add some blooms in the tree to give a more "Spring" look because for some reason, Winnie the Pooh always reminds me of Spring. I do want to say that I had a lot of trouble placing the 4 leaf pieces onto the base using the clear stems and clips inside the mound. I circled them in the photo, step 63 is on page 62. I'm sure it was me, but if you too have trouble, just be patient with it. This was by far one of the most difficult steps that I have ever experienced in my building days, and I did some really hard technic sets. I would also have liked to have seen, at least, an option to have a piece to connect to Pooh to give him a nice round belly. This set has a lot of character and so many "not so hidden" treats. It also has a lot (and I mean a lot) of extra pieces since it does use so many small parts. Which is not a bad thing. Lego has also opened some opportunities to expand on for some great MOC ideas, like Eeyore's house, the stone bridge over the stream, Rabbit's house, and even Gopher's hole. Not to mention the seasonal changes to the tree itself. I can't recommend this set enough. If you're a Pooh or Disney fan, this is a must. So once you sit down to build this set, get yourself a smackerel of honey, and have a "Tiggerific" time. "

This is a tower
" Unlike the 1st Tangled themed tower that was micro sized, this tower set is impressive for a mini-doll set. I purchased this set strictly for its scenic point of view for addition to my Disney collection. It has a very profound look of the location used in the film, It offers a great opportunity as a starter to enlarge and enclose it. The build was quite simple, yet satisfying. I can really see the playability value, however, I do feel there was a missed opportunity to add Mother Gothel to the set. The side builds are nice, especially the piano, music sheet, and rubber duck. I felt the price isn't that bad for a licensed set. I would recommend this set to anyone who enjoys the film, a fan of Disney, or has kids that enjoy LEGO as a whole. "

Another X-Wing Fighter.....but most impressive
" It was disappointing to see another X-Wing Fighter being released so soon after one had recently retired. When I first saw images of this set, it had the appearance of a step up of a 4+ set. But after assembling it, I have to say, well done LEGO. It's not perfect, but for the price that it sells for, and the piece count that the designers kept it at, it is very good. The minifigure choice is also well done, however I would be ok with a Wedge pilot by now. I really like how the R2 Units sit in the correct position behind the cockpit, and the foils open without the assistance of rubber bands. The nose gear does bother me a bit by being too far back. But the lack of some extra detailing and the nose gear is just petty for what is a really good rendition of the X-Wing Fighter at a very affordable price. It leaves plenty of room for those who like to add a little of their own touches, but more importantly, this is a great set for kids who just want to play out their own Star Wars adventures like I did when the film originally released. I can't recommend this set enough. "

Grandson loves it
" This was a Christmas gift for our 7 year old Grandson, who loves it. He really enjoyed building it. He even let me help as long as I didn't build the main ship, the shark or cage, the sub. Okay, so he let me build the helicopter and any spot that he may have missed something, which wasn't much. Then he tried it out in the tub, and couldn't get enough fun out of it. It does sometimes come apart at the center of the hull, but it is really easy to put back together, and the minifigures make for some great stories that our grandson has created about them. The larger shark is fantastic, and there's always one minfig enjoying the view inside of it. We even thought we lost a minifigure until we found it in the shark. This a really good looking vessel, and it offers a lot of play ability. "
