OVERPRICED AND FRAGILE
" 3 major negative points:
1- This set sells at 269.99$ CAD and has 2287 pieces. For the exact same price, you can get the LEGO Ideas Tree House, which as nearly 800 pieces more (3036 pieces). I know LEGO has to pay for trademarks, but LEGO should find a way not to put all the trademarks weight on fans shoulders. And keep in mind that for a price of 269,99$ CAD, other trademarks like Star Wars, Harry Potter or Jurassic World would give you a very larger set. So why is Stranger Things trademark so expensive compared to other big trademarked sets ???
2- I don't know what is happening with screening and picking quality at LEGO since a year or two, but some pieces that should be the same colors, are not. For example, on page 77 of the first instructions booklet, the 2 lower 1x1 bricks (holding the phone) are yellow, but one is light yellow and the other one is a bit darker (but both were supposed to be the same exact color).
3- A very fragile set. Only for displaying. No playable quality there. LEGO really should specify when a set is intended for AFOLs only, cause kids will have a very rough time trying to play with this set. It always breaks down and falls apart.
So in resume, for the price, yo uget a smaller than expected set, very fragile, and of different color tones that suppose. Ishhh... "

What a very sad fail...
" I got this set the day it went available for VIPs. I can't tell how much I was excited to get this amazing ready to display monster ! The 2 main positive points are its value for money (this set is huge and heavy!) and its highly impressing and beautiful display value. The overall building experience is cool (until the lift), and I am repeating myself, this is a beautiful display piece. But as you have noticed, I am reviewing this colossal set at 2/5. So what went wrong ? Before telling you what went wrong, keep in mind that I am playing and building LEGO for over 30 years now, so I know when a set has a problem. THE LIFT MECANISM........................... We are in 2020, LEGO guyz..... How could LEGO designers flopped that much on this lift system ? I am really asking LEGO this question. HOW COULD LEGO DESIGNERS MISSED THAT MUCH ON THAT ONE ? For the price we are paying this set, this is not acceptable at all. The chain always snapped out and falls inside the high tower, giving very little room to take it back and to build it back in place. The crank is not powerfull enough to support the weight of the lift, making the mecanism wheels turn without any effect half of the time, for the dents of the wheels skipping and missing other wheels' dents. Also (like if it was not enough negativness), the front facade on the left, with the Manor Von Baron sign, is EXTREMELY fragile, and I really mean it, exxxtreeemelyyyy fragile. Look at it too intensely and it will break down. I mean, come on LEGO...............Trust me LEGO fans and master builders, this 2 negative points really ruin all the experience of this set. It is a display model ONLY, don't play with it, don't touch it, don't breathe near it. I do not recommend it. "

Let's be honest everyone...
" People tend to think this set is amazing BECAUSE it is from the masterpiece series Mandalorian. But take a closer look all together at this set. It is just another AT-ST with different colors and some stickers. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THE MANDALORIAN so much ! But let's be honest. For the price of this set, LEGO should have included 2 or 3 more minifigs, at least. The Native American farmer lady (played by Julia Jones, the lady who has a crush on Mando), another farmer and another enemy soldier would have make this set a perfect midsize set. At least LEGO didn't forget to put the beautiful Cara Dune in this set. You think I am too severe in my critic ? I love LEGO, a lot, but LEGO has to understand not only kids are playing/collecting these sets. AFOL too. "

A beautiful to put on display
" If you are buying this set, you have to keep in mind that this set is a display item, for collectors of all ages. If you are looking for a playable set, well this set is maybe not what you are really looking for. Very beautifully designed. I know lots of people are compaining about Yoda's eyes, but I find these accurate (as it is possible to designed with LEGO parts). This "statue" is not poseable, so keep in mind that the battle ready position is its final state, but it does not bother me at all. Instruction steps are very clear and logic (some people wrote reviews saying the instructions were confusing..... I don't know why....). As I said, a beautiful collectible set to put on a display shelf. Love it :) "

" I love these historically accurate LEGO sets, making these more collector items for AFOL. Very nice to display. Even my friends that are not LEGO enthousiasts wants to buy one like this because of its detail quality and its beauty. Please LEGO, make more sets that are historically accurate like this one :) "

" I was waiting for this set since the first sneek peek pictures, months ago. And I was not disappointed at all :) Some may think it is a bit expensive for the size of the set (537 pcs), But, don't forget that you get TWO amazing dinos with it. First, the re-release of the amazing Indominus Rex (a bit more grey than the previous one, who was white). I prefer its current greyish color, more accurate. And second, the brand new and all exclusive Ankylosaurus, with a moveable knocking tail. The build of the visitors hut is very simple, nontheless, very cool looking. The only negative point here would be the minifigs you get. We always get the same minifigs (Owen and Claire). I would have prefered to get visitors minifigs, wearing promotional hats and t-shirts. Still, I give 5 big shiny stars for this set, and I highly recommend it to everyone :) "

Conterfeited LEGO parts ???
" Cool set, BUT..... I have a complaint to make concerning plastic quality, which is horrible in this set. Especially for the 8 grey pieces numbered 6308012. These don't look like official LEGO parts. Usually there is supposed to be a perfectly round molding mark on one side, and the LEGO name tag under the part. No LEGO tag under these 6308012 parts in this set, and the molding mark looks like a sort of amateur square. It really looks like the eight 6308012 parts you put in this set are cheap chinese counterfieted parts ! If I pay full boosted price for authentic LEGO parts, I want authentic LEGO parts. Extremely disappointed. My trust and confidence in LEGO starts to shaken..... "
