Great Addition to my Christmas Villages
" This village is a wonderful addition to my other Christmas Village sets. The Merry-Go-Round works great - relatively simple to put together. This 77 year old has been doing this for a few years - I take my time - can't sit for too long and my fingers get achy after a while because of arthritis. The end product is well worth it. I really need a large table to put all my Christmas Villages together. That'll be even more fun.

Sooo Many Bricks!
" What a task this was - took me about four hours just to count pieces and sort them into separate "sections" ( I used various and sundry items to hold the bricks until time to use) I even used small plastic baggies. This was a great challenge - took me about 20 hours over a period of five days. My arthritic fingers were never so busy. Loved it - Great addition to my city but right now have to find a place to put it somewhere in my house. As I said, loved it!

Lots of Fun - but frustrating!
" The Fire Brigade is a great addition to my city. Having built several of these buildings, I have developed a system of pre-sorting and organizing before I start to build. However, nothing prepared me when I couldn't finish the Fire Truck because of a missing piece. I realized that the missing piece had a quantity of 13 in the set - I immediately felt that some bag must have been misplaced or missing. I called Lego Customer Service and was happy to report that they did identify that two complete bags were missing. Customer Support shipped out the bags and gave me a consolation gift which helped me buy the set of additional city people.
So I started on the first floor while I waited for the missing bags to come in. Then, lo and behold, another piece was missing. I ordered the piece and set the first floor aside with the Fire Truck, and began working on the second floor. The missing bags arrived within a couple of weeks, and a week later, the lonely single missing piece. The building is finally finished and standing next to the Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, Grand Emporium, etc.
I have to say that these are a lot of fun for me to build and I knew and trusted Customer Support to do right by me. I have read that other builders have had problems with this unit and I hope Lego has found and repaired their problem. I have faith that they did. I am now ready for either the Pet shop or the new Town Hall. "

My Christmas Village is Growing!
" This is my second Christmas Village set. Because of illness, this is the first set since last year's Winter Toy Shop and the Grand Emporium - great to get back to get my fingers working again. I look at this set as a tribute to post office workers all over the world - nice going Lego.
The sets don't get played with unless my Grandchildren are here.
This one was easy to build I have also built the Green Grocer, and all others of that genre except for the Pet Shop. I ordered the Fire Brigade with this set and will start on that after New Years. At my age, I take my time building because sitting for too long is not too healthy for me. Keep my city growing Lego - keep throwing them at me and I'll do the best I can to keep up! "
