"PROS: Fantastic entry level set for younger builders...includes the iconic figures and has printed parts not stickers which is also good for younger hands. Quick build with lots of play in the set.
"PROS: The fire house seems like a fine addition to the holiday village and it did not disappoint. As always there are many little details and furnishings inside the building. I really liked the transitional recreation lounge and the fire pole. The Dalmatian was a nice touch too. I love the winter village ice scenes as well and the fountain was another nice perk. Plenty of figures really filled it out. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the return of the light brick inside the buildings. I missed that feature on the train station and welcome its return.
"PROS: This set is incredibly detailed and to my joy far more articulate than I would have thought. It was a really fun build and feels like someone put in the love when making it. The light up reactor and the glowing repulsor ports are fantastic touches. It looks fantastic on display. The little docking bay also has some nice additions and there are a few very clever nods to the movies including one very trigger happy fire robot's fire extinguisher. The little inclusion of an updated Iron Man was also a nice touch even if the scale is a touch off.
CONS: Stickers...on these UCS sets the parts really should be printed."
"PROS: Fun set, very playable. If looks good on display and has some great figures. Rouge One LEGO designers really seem to have had there stuff together. The movie may have its issues but the sets have not disappointed. The wing design and hinge use is really impressive since the engineering really manages to support the weight on essentially a very small joint.
CONS: This is the only Rouge One set that seemed pricey on the part per dollar ratio. As always I have to ding it for stickers."
"PROS: This is a vehicle that is hard to recreate in LEGO...it is round and bricks have edges. They did a fantastic job pulling off the look of the ship and making it both structurally sound and very swooshable. UCS sets don't usually get both properties. The build looks great and has some clever build uses. Ended up being a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
CONS: Stickers...UCS sets shouldn't have stickers for the price we pay for them. Price per part this also ends up on the high side...especially for a set with so many tiny parts. $.12 per part seems too high. Lastly, the mini figure pilot while both detailed and exclusive is just out of place for a UCS set not in scale with said figure. Again this feels like a way to reel in figure collectors but just detracts from the model display."
"PROS: Much better release of Anakin's ship...this one looks correct the last one looked like its nose had been crushed. Plays well and displays well. Good part count for the price.
