Really Fun to Build - But HATED the Stickers
" This is a really well designed model of the new Triple E class vessels. The container bays are not exactly true to life as the actual vessels can load 23 boxes wide but obviously Lego can't replicate something like that and still make the model workable and cost efficient for the average consumer. The lifeboats also are not accurate to the real vessel but again I totally understand why Lego designed it the way they did and I have no issues whatsoever. The thing looks great once complete.
My only real "gripe" is those stickers for the containers. It took me about 2 hours to complete that step of the build and it was the least fun part. I don't know squat about designing Lego models so I won't begin to speculate about how it could have been done better, however, I will only say that it would be great if there was a way to complete that step that was not so tedious and time consuming.
Total build time for me was 6 hours and I consider myself just a notch above novice so I would think the experienced folks out there could breeze through this in under 4 hours. Definitely recommend this one.
