"Personally, I love the Devastator build more than the UCS Falcon. The long wide slopes look so good when light reflects off them. The technic pieces make a cool structure. There were two missing pieces in my set, but Lego replaced them quickly and free of charge. Their standards are still good. I have confidence to purchase another large Lego set despite this error.
The minifigs are great despite what many "Lego influencers" say about them. Also, there's a great feature about Lego: you can customize it. This ship may not have an detailed interior, but if you want it there are large cavities in the ship to make rooms."
"This set is much bigger in person. The minifig selection is decent. The build time is long, so watch all the Star Wars movies while you build. I watched episodes 1-7. My finger tips were red and sore by bag 14. The detail elements are what make this challenging. I still have pieces left that definitely go in the build - not extra pieces."
"This model looks excellent. The robe and head design is very fluid for using mostly 90 degree angle pieces. The building isn't difficult BUT the pieces on the head fit together in unique ways. There are only a couple places where there are gaps. 1x1 tan plates are very easy to miss until you have Yoda built. Then you see gaps and extra 1x1's and have to disassemble to fit those plates...but that's part of the fun! :)
There are tons of tan plates, so doing a Tatooine, Scarif, or Jakku build would be possible."
"When I was a kid, I would look at the 2003 AT-AT in LEGO shop-at-home catalogs. I dreamed of owning it. Over the years I've seen numerous other AT-ATs come out. When I saw the 2020 edition, I could see the building techniques were more advanced than any previous model. I knew I had to buy it in August. It arrived on August 18, and I turned on a Star Wars documentary, drank a soda, and started building. The final product is imposing! The proportions are improved. The minifigure selection is nearly perfect - more snowtroopers would have been nice. The grappling gun winch is secure with technic, but it has a lot of friction. This results in a lot of bending when you're hoisting Luke up to the belly of the AT-AT. A couple of technic beams could have reduced the bending. Overall, it's a great set."
