Powerful, Neat, and Tough
" The XL-Motor spins at only 220 RPM rather than the M-Motor which spins at 440 RPM. But this thing has like 4 times as much torque and can easily get two hooked up right next to each other and gear up to be even faster than the M-Motor and still have like 4 times as much torque. It has the pin mounts on the side and front. It is a lot more manageable to hook up because it is so much easier to hook up. If you gear one motor up you will still have like 2 times the amount of torque as the M-Motor. It is very easy to just hook up and get the car going if you don't care about how fast it goes because it will still go forward at a good speed easily. I use two put together which doubles the speed and torque to move my car. There is one thing that I don't pay attention to but is that it needs brick mounts at the bottom like the M-Motor. But the M-Motor doesn't have pin mounts on the side. I still really don't care because it still works out. "

Controls Your Lego Models Like Nothing Before
" I bought the IR Speed Remote Control with an IR Receiver and worked out pretty good with each other. I like that fact that you can control up to 4 things at once on it and that you can easily control the speed of the motors steady or fast or really slow. It's cool that you can hook up stuff to the sides and the knob's. The really good feature that it has is a stop button on each channel. Also it uses battery power really well because it only uses it when the buttons or sensors are moved. Excellent Product, Makes Building Lego Power Functions Excellent. "

Cool, Small, Intelligent and makes Lego's Better
" The IR Receiver is a very good product from Lego because it can handle two channels at a time and is easy to hook up to anything on your models. I use the red channel to power the wheels on my car and the blue channel to power the steering. It easily can reach a far distance and handle the remote control. It's good for anything on power function Lego's that has a remote control. "

Very Well Designed and Useful
" I really don't have much to say of it other than it is a good extension cable that is pretty long. The thing I like most is that on the light gray piece you can mount it to standard bricks so its easier to manage. I bought two and seemed a very good investment considering what I build out of Lego's with power functions. Good, Simple. "

Excellent and Perfect View
" I bought it to light up one of my cars with headlights. It worked perfectly and is really good in the dark at night. I need to get some hair bands to hold it together to not let the wires loose but still EXCELLENT! It could also be used for tail lights just like when you hit the brakes on a real car. All you need to do is add the see through 1x1 red circle brick to make it red and hook it up to the IR Reciever. Perfect, small, lightweight, fits in holes of the bricks with pin holes in them. "

A good source of POWER!
" I have an M-Motor that it powers. It makes it spin at 440 RPM just like it said in the description. It is too big for mounting on a 42x16 car. I think it needs to have the connecting pieces like the M-motor at the bottom to mount it because I have to put pins to a 6x1 brick with holes for pins. It is a bit heavy with the batteries in it. I also had to buy rechargable batteries (which is about $25) for it to be useable a lot of the time because it uses up the power really quick. I do like the fact that it has the reverse and foward switch on it. GREAT PRODUCT! Just needs to be smaller, lighter, and more manageable. "
