One of our favorite sets ever
" This set is incredibly charming. The details are perfect. My only complaint is that Lego missed a great opportunity to teach through this build. The images at the front of the building instructions only barely tell the story of Nian and none of the details are explained (the elders cleaning, the couplets, the cabbage). This set presented an opportunity to bridge cultures and people. Lego came close but failed to make the final connection by giving us an explanation for each important cultural element. Even just a web address to learn more of the story would have been nice.
