"This building is decent, but it seems like the modulars are starting to be directed to younger people. The cookies storyline is so stupid. Why would someone try to slide a barrel full of cookies through a barber shop, under the stairs and into the pool hall when you could just walk right through the back door of the pool hall? It seems like the designers needed something to put on the top floor so they just made up this storyline so they would be able to put a random kitchen when there is no house and it would make sense. Less attention needs to be payed to the senseless trap doors and more attention to things in the building that would actually serve a purpose. Also the exterior colors need to be fixed as this building stands out from the others. Some good things about the set are the reflecting mirror, the pull-chain toilet, and the lettering. But like I said before a lot of the details are childish. Please make the next modular a bit more mature looking."
"I have a lot to say about this model. First of all, it is AWESOME!!! It was a very challenging build so you have to pay extra attention to what piece you are putting where. It is a very detailed model and it is HUGE in size. I am glad they separated the pieces into 4 sections, it made it a lot easier of a build. The price could maybe be $20-40 less because some other sets costs less than this one and they also have more pieces. If you are a baseplate lover like I am, you get a nice 48x48 stud baseplate in blue, along with a 32x32 blue baseplate and a 16x32 blue baseplate. I highly recommend this set to a Lego fan of any type."
"This is a good set but has several flaws. On the base, the hinge system easily breaks. Once you get past the base, it is very boring because you are just stacking the same pieces on top of each other of what seems like forever. Now, lets get to the good parts. Despite the fragile base, it is very clever of how they got it to lean. I am just surprised of how it is actually leaning! I recommend this set but I wouldn't put it on the top of my priority list unless, of course, you are collecting the whole architecture series."
"This is one of my favorite architecture sets. The only annoying part was getting the "flagpoles" in the front to stand up straight. The building itself is very sturdy and is very detailed. The price per piece is better than others but most of the pieces are small. Overall it was a fun build and it looks good on my display shelf."
"This is a good quality set in many ways. First off, I thought it was cool because they had an option if you want the nameplate in English or French. Second of all, it is much larger than the other architecture landmark sets. (1 ft) It is a repetitive build at times, and you spend some time at the end of the build trying to center the tower on the base. There are few special pieces (just nameplate and bendable rods for the arch towards the bottom) It was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be but still a fairly easy build. The price is fairly reasonable but, as all of the other architecture sets, a bit on the expensive side. I say just to buy it and give it a try."
"Overall the design is unique but it gets boring. 40 dollars is also very high for 208 pieces. The beige and white go well together but the beige bricks on the back represent windows so I think that the back wall should have clear bricks. Overall okay purchase and cute little set."
"I love this remote. It has 7 speeds and 8 channels. It can make your train go backwards or forward. The only bad thing is that it only controls the train properly when it is close to the IR receiver. Otherwise, a great buy!"
"This is a great cheap product but with two cons. It does not hold the battery power for very long (goes through a lot of batteries) and it only has one plugin for other power functions. Other than that, a great cheap buy!"
"This is a nice product. There is a hook that holds the car on the flatbed. There are also two yellow ramps that keep the car on the flatbed. The flatbed also tips back. The flatbed can only fit cars the same size as the one included or smaller cars. I also like the orange bricks. They go nice with the older garage. Overall, it is fun to play with and build."
"This one is definitely not the best architecture item, but there still are some good sides to this product. For one, it casts a nice shadow on the wall. It also looks nice ALONE on the shelf. It does not look the best with the other architecture sets. Also, when I compare it to the real photo, the colors do not match. Overall it was a fun build but the complete product is not the best."
