Why are they passed off as "not bright enough"?
" The title says it all. These lights are great; they are easy to use, integrate, and attach, and they also seem to have a plug of sorts in the middle which I could sure do without-perhaps one of the old 9V plugs? I don't know if it is, but that middle plug does get in the way when trying to stretch the wire between two points. Other than that, this set is brilliant and I recommend it to anybody thinking of buying some Power Functions stuff. "

Why the complaints about short life?
" The first thing that I have to say is that the life of this motor is actually quite good. If you use a clutch gear to avoid over-torquing the motor, it will last a long time. My first one lasted nearly two years without a clutch gear, being used at least twice a week (on average-I use my other one a lot more nowadays!). The reason I am giving this otherwise excellent set only 4 stars is because of its lack of torque. Lego motors have always lacked torque, and this one continues the tradition! But, if you want easy motorization, buy this set. Sooooooooooooooo easy to use! "

Great remote control
" This handset works very well for anything except trains, because of its lack of speed control. For cars and other non-variable contraptions, this remote would be a great starter to RC Lego. Controls are very simple and easy to learn. Extremely easy to use and reasonably priced, I recommend this set to every Lego fan! "

Too many batteries needed
" I got this set in the old Cherry Picker and it has worked faultlessly ever since. The only real problem is that, besides the fact that it's enormous, is the 6 AA batteries needed to get it going. Once you have installed those, however, it's an excellent set. If Lego would include the batteries for maybe $5 more, it would be much more worthwhile. "

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
" This set is a must have for every Power Functions or high-level Technic fan. It includes everything you need to get started except batteries, and it is easily compatible with any medium-size Technic set. I have motorized my Race Truck, Snowmobile, Race Car, and many more creations using this set
PROS:
Great stuff!
Good value for money!
No faults with the contents
CONS:
No batteries included, and it needs six of them...

Good set!
" This set is very good, as it comes with the epic firing missile, which can shoot nearly 6 feet. The front flipping function took a while to get used to, but it really adds to the play value of the set. the treasure key is great, but the diver has nowhere to store his flippers. Other than that, a flawless set. Great value for money. "

" This set was awesome! The functions were easy to build and move but the exploding floorboards were a flop. It was really fun to build and play with. there should have been another spinner and some more characters with battle cards. Overall a really good set to buy if you like ninjago! "

B-model should have been the A-model
" This set is great, and it was extremely easy to motorize. However, if you want real value for your money, build the B-model, as it's a lot better and also easy to motorize. The only drawback is that the gear pops out of the engine after about 2 minutes of use. Overall, a good set. "
