Train Engine Not Great
" There are lots of good things about this set. The tracks are good, but we needed to purchase the two supplementary track sets (the switches and the bridge) to make it big enough to be fun. The colour coded signal blocks are a great introduction to coding, which I like. My big gripe is with the train engine itself. There is no way to disengage the motor to just let the kid push the train around on their own, so motor power is the ONLY option to move the train. This really limits the play value of the set. Even more frustratingly, other Duplo trains that are not motorized (e.g. the number train) are not compatible with the switches or the bridge, so you can't play with them using this track. "
