Good value, some issues.
" I think this set has really good value. The Blade of Deliverance is really nice! It's got really good detail for one piece. Though it is quite delicate and I would prefer that on the saddle there was a 2x2 plate with half studs. Also that there would be ratcheting joints rather than hinge joints. The minifigures are good and the value is very good. I'd give this a 7/10 because of the small things that let it down, the bad play ability. "

Good set, lots of stickers.
" When I first saw this set, I didn't care, I hated it, it looked terrible because of the flatness of the front. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. It is actually a really good set! The mini figures are well made, though the white on Kai's body and leg are a little pink-ish. Scott looks fantastic and the Red Visors are great too. I like the function of the wings coming out, the wheels can move up and down too. (I like to have them clicked 3 times downwards to make it look like it's flying.) The price I feel is good too.
But, aside from all those positives, it is quite sticker heavy, and without the stickers, this set would look very ugly. I really do think it needs them. The opening compartment is too small too, not that much could really be done about it and the 1x2 sloped corner tiles don't stay on well when you try to open it.
Overall, I'd give this set a 8/10 for looks, play ability, cost and mini figures. "

One of my all time favourites.
" I really wanted the original Storm Fighter but then I saw how much it went for nowadays. Then I saw this absolute beauty of a set, it looks so good! The play feature works really well, it has room for Jay and if you tilt the seat forwards a bit you can fit in the nunchucks of lightning too. The price for this, I'd say is brilliant, the serpentine figures look great, I'm not really a fan of the new Legacy suits but it's fine. The blade opening function works really well and the blades were a good choice too.
I'd definitely recommend this to a friend or someone wanting to get into NINJAGO because it's such a near perfect set, the only issue I have with it is the little fins near the cockpit do interrupt the mechanism's closing and they can fall off easily. As well as the back fins, they break off a bit easy too, just very minor annoyances.
Overall, I'd give this a 10/10 for value, looks, play features and mini figures, I've had this over a year now and it looks and works as great as when I bought it. I LOVE THIS SET! "

Great set
" This set came damaged, not the fault of LEGO itself, was just a certain retailer that I won't name (this will not effect the review). First of all, this set looks really good. I really like the way that the red, black and cyan colours look together, it really makes the set look quite evil. I do really like the main feature, the opening door and the figures, which look really good, as most have recently.
I do have some issues with it though, this set includes all three keytanas which I do appreciate a lot, but it has features for only two of them which I find strange. Cole's scythe weapon has a white bar underneath (not sure if that's accurate or not) I think it should've been translucent neon green instead. Lastly, why are the lanterns 1x1 cylinders? Wouldn't it have been better with white mini figure heads?
Overall, I'd give this a 8/10 as it looks good and fits the in-game theme very well but some minor things let this set down. "

Looks great, amazing looking figures.
" First of all, I'd like to say that this looks amazing! The mini figures are very well detailed with great looking armour pieces. I'd like to see other weapons than simple katanas and a cross bow but then that wouldn't be accurate to the show. This is worth the money, the set is a good height. I also really appreciate the fact that you can hold the sword with the pin, I know LEGO has done that for a few years now but it still is a great addition as I have The Temple of Light set back from 2013.
This set does have a few minor flaws though, the flyer on the back of the mech does add to it, but the location of the spring loaded shooters are a pain, I've just taken them out and put them in the cannon barrels. Also, the dragon elements on the head or helmet of the mech are loose, they are a single stud connection which I don't really like but it looks really, really good with them on. I would've also liked to see a little sticker on the gold element for the eyes as they are in the program and it would've really completed the look to this set.
Overall, I'd give this an 8/10 for good value, great looks and mini figures. "

Pretty good
" This set is well built, The play features are decent too. At first, I didn't think it was worth the money but having it on my shelf I can see that it's pretty good for the money. I like the addition of the cherry blossom on the side, the mini figures are good too, though I find the skeleton's face a bit weird but that might just be me. The set looks good and had a good building experience too.
I do not like that the fruits on the training grounds are so delicate, I feel like they could've been made a bit stronger because they fall off too easily. Also, I would've liked to have gotten maybe one more skeleton or a side build for the skulkins but maybe I'm asking for too much?
Overall, good set, decent value and mini figures, I'd rate 7/10 for this. "

Brilliant!
" This is probably one of my all time favourite sets, it has really good mini figures, the build was entertaining and well detailed.
However, I have noticed that there are some flaws with it, the sails are one-directional, meaning it has a camera friendly side and a not so friendly side, the weapons on the detachable flyer are very delicate as they're a single stud connection, and the cockpit struggles to fit in the mini figures, as it is slightly too small.
Overall, a brilliant set with great play features and a well detailed build. The price is well worth it too. I'd give this a 9/10 as the flaws are minimal and don't cause much irritation. "
