Good build / Decent vallue
" This is a BIG build, and is enjoyable throughout. He stands pretty solidly, and can grip the surface he stands on better than most mech's due to a new technique in the feet LEGO implemented (i won't spoil it)
The color selection and unique pieces used make it exciting to get through, i didn't even want to step away once. The purple, magenta, and bright orange is a very pleasing color scheme to the eyes, i can't stress that enough. The light brick is obviously a great added bonus to this set, we don't get those all that often.
However, my one gripe would be the figure selection. I see in the other sets, there are pretty cool looking 'bad guys'. I'm not too familiar with the theme, so maybe it wouldn't make sense to add a couple of 'grunt' soldiers in with 'Princess Iron Fan'. Either way, 3 figures in a $90 set isn't enough IMO. Obviously i knew this going into it, just felt like it's worth mentioning to LEGO directly.
Of course i am a bit biased being a Ninjago guy, they spam us with minifigs in those sets, which as we all know is a very good thing.
