Just picked this set up
" Our local store finely had these in stock. They go off the self as fast as they go on. The set went together quick, under a half an hour. It has some interesting building techniques, the doors, engine compartment.
With a few modifications it could fit in with any town or train layout. Like all the Toy Story sets, the minifigs are great!
At just under 18 cents a brick, this set is a little high, even for a Toy Story themed set. "

Just renewed mine
" This will be the fourth year in a row I've renewed mine. Every other month you get a magazine, a comic and a great little set to collect or construct. Most of the time you get coupons for money off your on line purchases. This subscription pays for itself.

A fun set
" When Lego created the "Western Train Chase" #7597 (I rated it best of the Toy Story 3 sets), I knew the Duplo version wouldn't be far behind. This set is just as much fun as it's big kids counter part.
The pieces are big and assemble easy. The caboose and locomotive have big openings so Minifigs fit easily. The train travels well over carpet and tiled floor. The first thing the grandkids did was build a Duplo tunnel with additional bricks. "

Lots of play
" With 3 minifigs, a truck and a crane with extra bricks this set has lots of playability. The cab of the crane, and the back of the truck interchange. Young children will have no problems operating the crane and moving bricks around. The minifigs fit in and out the vehicles with ease. Any young Lego builder would love this set.

lots of play value
" We gave this set to a grandchild (4 yrs) this past weekend. She loved it. She's a huge fan of Toy Story and has lots of Buzz and Woody related toys.
The gas pump theme of the set didn't matter so much, it was the Buzz and alien in a truck that she loved. This truck has seen plenty of miles across the carpet since then. A little cheaper would have been better. But, a great set for young kids.. "

Great set, great parts
" The set was fun to build, and didn't take more than an hour. The set arrived the same night we were watching some of the grand kids. They helped put the different areas together and had no problems doing so. After it was together they just had to play with it. they spent the next two hours rescuing Woody.
I purchased the set for the nice selection of parts. The gray supports, conveyor belt, dump container, claws, incinerator parts, gears, and the dark green crane parts just to name a few. The minifigs are just a bonus.
The per brick price of 13.5 cents seems average for the new Toy Story 3 sets. A good purchase. "

Safe and fun
" We have three of these in our household. It's great to run around the house blasting away at each other. The trick is to not only hit the other person, but to gather blasters that were shot at you.
The blasters are larger than your average foam projectiles. Their not very fast, but they are very safe. I hope Lego starts selling packs of additional blasters. "

Cool minifigs
" The set was a very quick build. Less than half an hour. The truck is much small than I expected. It would not fit in with City, or Farm sets.
The Minifigs are great, stretch was neat and will be used elsewhere. Chunk was cool, his face rotates to show different expressions.
At a per brick price of over 15 cents, the set could have been a little cheaper. "

Best Toy Story set
" This really is the best Toy Story Lego set so far! The set was a lot of fun to put together. Lots of train elements, and some great building methods. It went together fairly fast and each car was a different build from the last.
The playability of this set is huge! Not only do you have minifigs from previous sets, but now you have Rex and Hamm. You have Jessie and Bullseye chasing the train, while Buzz, Woody and Rex battle Hamm (Evil Dr. Porkchop). There's all sorts of chase scenes that can be played out, both on top, in, and around this great train.
The set also provides young Lego train builders an introduction to Lego train building techniques, and older ones some great train parts to build your own train with. This set is going to end up in the amusment section of my train layout. "

Lots of fun
" I purchased this set on sale, and it was a great purchase. My grandson loves playing with it. Using the forklift to load and unload stuff. Then he flies it around the room, and the house. He just turned five and it's easy for him to hold onto and play with.
