A very nice set
" The set contains a good variety of bricks.
Most of the bricks are beams for the walls, so only a few 2x4's etc. The selection of windows and doors are great, allowing for plenty of building possibilities. There are some tiles for sidewalks that kind of thing. Most of the sets like this have black slops for the roof, this one has red so a nice change.
The per brick cost is good, I would suggest two if you can afford it.
The only down side is, no minifigs, and no minifig items other than a single gold plate. Also the odd yellow door when all the windows are white. I replaced it with a red one. "

 LEGO Pirates: Shipwreck Hideout
LEGO Pirates: Shipwreck Hideout
Years ago, the pirate king's ship ran aground on a tropical island. Now the wreck has become the pirates' secret hideout! The soldiers are out to capture the pirates and take back the treasure, but they'll have to sneak past the lookout and brave the hideout's hidden traps: a swinging bridge, slashing sword, firing cannon and secret skull-launcher! Tons of pirate role playing action with a cannon that really fires, a bridge that flips over and other hidden traps! Includes 3 pirates, 2 soldiers, pirate skeleton, parrot and more! Hideout is over 15" (38cm) long and 9" (22cm) tall!

A fun pirate set.
" With six minifigs and a really cool broken up ship, this set has lots of play value. It includes plenty of extras, guns, gold, jewels, extra skulls, the works. It even has a shooting cannon (not normally available in the US)!!
The shipwreck is a little light on pieces, I added some pieces from an older shipwreck set and it really added to the look of things.
Over all a little high in price but lots and lots of extras to make up for it. "

LEGO Hard To Find: Eiffel Tower 1:300
LEGO Hard To Find: Eiffel Tower 1:300
Created by popular demand, the LEGO Eiffel Tower is a stunning model for construction and display, built to 1:300 scale from the real tower's original blueprints. From the flag at the top to the elevators and other realistic details, this is as authentic as it gets. Eiffel Tower stands 42.5" (108 cm) high and base measures 20" x 20" (50 cm x 50 cm)! Can be disassembled in 3 sections for easy transport and storage!

Good Value
" I picked this up on sale at the Mall of America. I purchased it for the parts only, and wasn't going to build it. Once I un packed it I decided to just for the heck of it.
It was an easy and straight forward set to construct. It went together in a short time with no problems ( once the pieces were sorted). I was surprised at the completed size. Like others have said, it's big! There is more detail to it than I thought.
It was to big to keep and display, and it was out of scale compared to city themed sets so I did after a few days disassemble it.
It has lots of great parts. With some window elements and a few doors I reused the pieces to build a warehouse for my lego city.

Very fun
" As far as an ice cube tray goes it was only okay. With ten blocks per tray it took forever to freeze up enough cubes for a party. Everyone thought they were cool, but they melted very fast, and the studs didn't last long.
We also did chocolate like the other reviewer mentioned and we made jello blocks. They went over very well, and are all ready requested for the next party. A word of advise, if your going to use jello, make the thick jello recipe. They turn out like Gummi bricks. "

Just plain fun
" This set was great to put together. Some very cool methods used in construction. The colors went well together. Better than I expected. The detail was a nice touch.
The building is a little flat depth wise and seems a little out of place when connected to the Green Grocer and Cafe Corner. Maybe when the set goes on sale I'll buy another and add to it.

Just okay
" The set is highly detailed and fun to assemble. It looks great sitting in my display case. It's not a micro scale Falcon, nor is it a minifig scale Falcon. It doesn't go with any other set I have. That and the over use of stickers and the slightly higher price might detour some people from purchasing this set.
If your looking for a display set, this is a great one.
If your looking for a set to go with others, look elsewhere.

Very Nice
" When the price dropped I had to buy another one. I was debating on whether to make my first one taller or just build another one. I decided to build the second one in mirror image of the first. It looks great next to the other one. I opened up the wall between the grocery making it larger.
Lots of detail, huge challenge building everything the opposite as it was in the instructions.
Worth the money!!! "

Another great addition
" The Space Police Theme looks like yet another that I will end up purchasing all of.
This set was fun to build, a few new building methods used. Both look fast when completed, and have super high swoosh factors! The skull Interceptor has twin torpedoes to shoot. The Space Police ship has lots of weapons as well. This set fits in very well with the other Space police.
The Skull Twins minifigs are some of the coolest in the theme. The price is a little high, but all in all worth the purchase. "

 LEGO Other: LEGO Ruler
LEGO Other: LEGO Ruler
Measure your model's height and length just like the LEGO Master Builders with this professional LEGO ruler! Whether you're building with bricks or Technic axles and beams, this handy tool has all the measurements you'll need to build it right. A must-have tool for any LEGO designer!

A must have !!!
" If you build on a regular basis, you'll need this in your set of building tools.
I can guess the length of an axle pretty good, with this I know for sure. For brick measurement, this ruler gives you fast and accurate count. A quick glance and you know how high your creation is. Less time counting and more time creating. The side that counts studs is worth the price alone. On bigger creations you can lose count easy, and have to start all over again. With this I was able to measure a battle ship 258 studs long, with one try and it only took seconds.
Add a brick separator, and an axle with a ball on the end (for those sticky pins), and you'll have all the tools you'll need...!
I do have one suggestion; On the other side have Minifig scale measurements. "

Nice but to high priced
" I purchased this set because I liked the way it looked. I figured it had some nice pieces I could reuse if I didn't like it once built. It does have some nice round parts, like dishes and macaroni shapes.
It does look nice sitting on my desk.
At .19 cents a part it's nearly double the average part cost in a set. Also, 70 of the 208 pieces are 1x2 tan bricks. Go out to pick a brick, it's cheaper! "
