Pass
" I love the Architecture Lego theme. The White House is still my favorite. This set could have been so much better! The real buildings have so many features and details that make them instantly recognizable, this set has none. I sent a picture of the completed set to a friend who lives in Manhattan. He had no idea what it was.
The set does assemble quickly, and it was fun building a micro scale 2 x 3 city blocks... If you really want this set, I'm sure most everyone has these bricks of one color or another laying around. "

Lego mug, Yes!
" I didn't even know Lego made these. We're doing a Secret Santa thing in the office, I came in Monday morning to find this on my desk.
I was super excited. It's good quality. It's been to two meetings with me and never fails to catch everyones attention.

Great when on sale.
" We go through a deck of cards every month or so. Lost, damaged you name it. When these went on sale I had to by a bunch. Their very colorful and made from a high grade card stock. The face cards look great but aren't as easy to read as a standard deck of cards. The kids and grandkids love 'em. For the serious card player, pass... "

It's a nice set
" One of my grand daughters had a birthday last week. Suddenly she just loves horses. So we bought her this set.
The horse ( April ) is solid made of two pieces. The head moves up and down but the legs don't. The saddle and the harness are removable. Cecilia is fairly flexible, she bends at the knees, hip, and shoulder, but not the elbows.
We thought our grand daughter would ignore the bricks (she just turned 6) and only play with Cecilia and April, but with a little help she put the full set together and enjoys playing with it.

Lots of fun all year.
" The calendar is made of heavy weight paper. Each month has a different theme. Their computer generated Lego scenes. May is a rock band, August is a day at the beach etc. The days are left blank (aside from the date) leaving plenty of room to write in important notes. It would make a great gift for an adult or a child. "

Flexible
" I've stayed away from these mainly because most of my train layout is 9v. When I purchased the Passenger Train (7938) it came with some of these. Because of where I was putting the Passenger train I wouldn't have been able to do it without the flexible train track. I even had to buy more.
4 flex tracks = 1 straight track. With 64 pieces it's equal to 16 straight tracks. Using them is a bit more tricky then using standard track. They have to be secured better, and in more places. If you have trouble connecting the track to a base plate, the train probably wont run right on it anyway. They cost over a 1/3 more than then standard tracks, but that's to be expected.

Nice looking train
" The goes together easy, very simple construction. It took less than two hours to assemble everything. The instructions are divided up into four different books.
The train looks good, and runs smooth. The infrared receiver sits low and doesn't always respond well to the remote. I purchased two sets and modified the additional cars as passenger cars. Even with six cars the engine operates well, there is some slipping of the wheels. It's a very light and narrow train compared to others. This makes it perfect for either a lite rail system, or a subway train.

Great looking
" The set took me just under an hour to assemble. It comes in numbered bags so sorting and building is fast. The truck looks really nice, lots of detail to not only the truck but the boat as well. Both seat two minifigs with room to spare. The out riggers on the truck use a Lego piece I've never seen before.
The truck is sized to the larger City Lego scale. It will fit in with Green Grocer type sets. I built a river into my train layout using blue plates (#620). this truck and boat will look nice on the shore rescuing a crashed boater. The set has a low per brick price making it affordable as well.

Nice starter set
" The set went together in under an hour. The instructions are very well laid out, younger builders wont have any problems. This set does not go with other city sets like the "Fire Brigade" or the "Green Grocer". But it's not meant to. This set is more like an introductory set to the world of City Lego, like "City Corner" (#7641).
The set has a lot of detail. A tree fort, lawn chair and barbecue with food. The inside isn't as detailed as it could have been, but does have a place to eat, sleep and play.
The per brick price is great. if your looking for a set for a younger Lego builder, this one is a good one to start with.

Nice but small
" The umbrella seems well constructed and looks very nice. It is small, made for a single person, a small person. My daughter hung it upside down in her room and put Christmas lights in it. Looks very cool. "
