"In Avengers: Infinity War, when Nick Fury sees that many people are being disintegrated into dust, he grabs an old pager from his backpack and presses the buttons trying to send out a message to someone. Then Fury sees that he is turning to dust and drops the pager, revealing that he sent a message to Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. After A3 many of us wondered what Fury's history was with Carol Danvers, but the Captain Marvel trailers reveal that they fought together to stop the Skrull invasion in 1995.
Captain Marvel is the newest member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hero line-up, and she is supposedly the most powerful. The minifigure looks pretty good, using Black Widow hair in medium nougat and reusing Qira's head from Solo: a Star Wars Story which works okay, but I wish she had a binary/powered-up face. The torso is easily the best part because it is a specialized new print for Capt. Marvel and looks great! She has plain blue legs which is sad because her red boots are such a prominent feature of the character in the trailer and they could have just reused Spider-Man's (2016) dual molded legs:(!! Carol is equipped with 2 blue power blasts which are cool, but they should be yellow or orange.
Nick Fury looks much younger than previous versions of the super-spy and this is from before he loses his eye. He looks perfect, but he also has a much simpler costume than Capt. Marvel in the movie. His hair is standard Finn hair from Star Wars, and his head is from Cyborg in DC Comics, but both of these pieces work fine I think. He has a nice new shirt with tie print on the torso, featuring a holster. Nick has plain black legs and is equipped with a gray gun.
Talos is the leader of the shape-shifting Skrull invaders. He gets a weird new light green ear and top of head piece that looks respectable but unfortunately lacks printing. His head is a good print with a wrinkly Skrull-style scowl. The torso looks good but not quite perfect when compared to the movie. I know how long it takes to produce a set so this is excusable. Talos has plain black legs and is equipped with a black stud shooter.
Goose the Cat is the same cat design as The LEGO Movie version but I think that it still looks great! Not much to say about this but I do want to theorize that Goose has a larger part in the plot than expected......
Well these minifigures are pretty respectable but it seems like LEGO's trend of making super awesome and amazing figures for Star Wars but not for Super Heroes is continuing as none of them have leg printing when Capt. Marvel and Talos would definitely benefit from them. I feel Carol also should have a new print for her head with a powered-up face. I can't complain too much though, because LEGO didn't have to make these figures and I'm am sure glad that they did and while I may not like some of the decisions, I have to respect them because TLG has been doing this for a long time and they have a budget.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet (1995 style)
While they figures weren't perfect, this jet is pretty perfect for $30 dollars. It is surprisingly large and well detailed. The cockpit is big enough for one figure and has a control panel. The wings are simple but effective with their folding winglets. The engine units are well detailed and feature folding fins and trans-blue exhaust ports. Under the wings there is a remote flick-fire missile shooter. This is sooooooo much better than normal though because it shoots 4 missiles instead of one. This is on both sides of the Quinjet. The back is plain but features the traditional Quinjet ramp, but cat-sized this time and (obviously) fits Goose inside.
I really like the Quinjet for a $30 set and Nick Fury and Goose look great as well. Captain Marvel and Talos look good enough to tell which character they represent, but they are not perfect. I recommend this set for Marvel fans because its a great way to get Carol and Nick in a cheap MCU set plus the rest of the set is good as well.
"Unikitty embraced her angry side in the Battle of Bricksburg from the first LEGO Movie, and Super Angry Kitty returns with tons of spikes, joints and faces. This set also includes two mini-figures and a Duplo monster.
Emmet Brickowski is still wearing his colorful construction outfit, albeit with a new print to show wear and battle-damage. Emmet's hair is the same, but his head is new for The LEGO Movie 2, showing a smile expression and a terrified expression. He has no accessories.
Warrior Lucy, aka. Wildstyle is amazing! She is wearing an outfit that is completely new, but it is still reminiscent of her old sweatshirt outfit with similar light blue and hot pink stripes. (Sorry I don't know the technical color names.) Lucy has a black torso with the graffiti stripes, arm printing and dual-molded legs with dark brown on the top for her pants, and black on the bottom for her boots. The master-builder wears a dark brown scarf/hood and a black quiver to go with her crossbow. Her hairpiece is the same style as before, but she has red-lensed goggles dual-molded into it. Lucy's head is new and features a very happy smile, and an extremely angry face. She comes with an awesome stop sign that says "Never Stop" and a crossbow.
The lime green and blue Duplo monster is a fun little build with a chomping mouth and a rotating eye. I like how similar the size is compared to actual Duplo bricks. There really isn't much else to say about it.
This is by far my favorite version of Unikitty, featuring 20 joints (not counting clipped parts), three faces and LOTS of spikes.
The head is built to look like a scaled up version of Angry Kitty's head with added armor. The horn is the same piece with a 1x1 cone under it to make it taller. The 3 faces are made of 2x5 bricks with a Cutesy Kitty face, an Angry Kitty face, and a Super Angry Kitty face.
There isn't much good or bad to say about the legs or tail except that they all have a great range of movement.
The body Features a mane of spikes, a saddle for Lucy, more armor and many more spikes.
I love this set!!!! For $30 USD/ $24 at Walmart it is an absolutely amazing set. The figures are great, especially if you don't plan to buy any other sets. The Duplo Monster is cute and has some fun features. Ultrakatty is everything from adorable to terrifying and I love the faces and the spikes. Overall there's really nothing bad about this set that I can see.
"This new hulk-buster set is pretty cool and definitely an improvement over the last one in 2015. Minifigures Bruce Banner is the main hero in this set, but this figure is reused from the Thor: Ragnarok set. He still looks too young with the hair piece they chose. Falcon (Sam Wilson)is the best mini-figure in this set by far. He looks so great and the new wing build is nice. His Head is new and it has a face with goggles for when he is in flight; the other face is great and has a new goggle-less head. Proxima Midnight is a cool figure. I like this fig but I haven't really seen what she looks like in the movie. Outrider is still cool but the same as in the other sets, which is fine. I think they have 4 arms in movie though, not 6 The Builds The Wakandan Turret is cool. It can shoot the black spheres out and it can look broken. It also stores the Soul Stone, which in the movie is probably not powering a puny little turret. Overall a cool build The HULK-BUSTER is pretty awesome!! it opens up differently than the last one but it looks better and uses lots of stickers to good effect. It still has lots of possibilities with the range of motion. Turning A knob on the back allows it to punch it arm out and smash the turret Overall this set is really cool and for $25ishUSD at Walmart i definitely recommend it."
"This contains SPOILERS for Thor: Ragnarok This isn't a perfect set but it is still pretty awesome
Thor Odinson had a pretty rough couple of days at the hands of Hela, his rebel sister in Thor: Ragnarok but he is still alive and seemingly more powerful, even without Mjolnir. Thor loses an eye but the mini-figure still has two, probabaly because LEGO doesn't want to spoil Ragnarok. Thor is simpler now than before but that reflects his new outfit in Avengers: Infinity War perfectly. The hair piece is perfect and The head is still cool with the powered up eyes. The new POWER BURST pieces are awesome!!!! They look so good when connected to Thor. The Storm Breaker Ax Hammer thingy is pretty cool also. This figure is great
Rocket Raccoon is identical to the GOTG2 version but still good figure and the tail is a cool piece.
Teen Groot is pretty cool and the head mold is new. The prints are good but leg printing would have made this so much better, but he is still awesome!!
The Escape Pod is a pretty cool ship. It has lots of sand blue pieces. All 3 mini-figures can fit inside and not be too crammed. Very cool color scheme with lots of rare pieces. The stud-shooters work great as always. The best feature by far is the ability to connect to the ship from Thanos: Ultimate Battle. It looks great when they are connected. So this is a great little ship with cool features and pieces.
The Space Forge is pretty neat and the features are nice. You can spin the electricity thing. There is a drawer that Strom-Breaker can pop out of. And of course the POWER STONE!!!! The new Infinity Stone elements are great and you get 4 in each set.
Overall this is another great Infinity War set and I definitely recommend this."
Mini-figures- definitely the best part of the set. They are amazing for the price of $15 USD
Captain America or Steve Rogers (or whatever he is called now) is a great figure that looks almost perfect. his new head is great as is his torso and hair. His legs could have used some printing, but not a big deal.
Black Widow or Natasha Romanoff is also amazing and she looks pretty good. The vest color isn't perfect but its close enough and the print is great. the head is fine. The hair is pretty good too, but color is not perfect but once again quite close. So she and Cap are the best parts of the set
The Outriders are pretty cool also and the new back piece is neat. The prints are great, but the legs could have used some print, but not a big deal.
The Outrider Dropship is pretty cool. It is much taller than I was expecting. It is also the cheapest set with the revived teal color(I think). The build folds open by lowering the windshields and walls. when opened both outriders can be placed in it with the SPACE STONE and it closes up with them very nicely.
This set is amazing. You get 4 great Mini-figures, a decent amount of teal, and an Infinity Stone all in a $15 USD set. I definitely recommend This set"
"Yesterday i bought this set and i love it! It is great for play with all of the play features like the falling lights, exploding wall, armory wall, tipping throne and seat, and of course the opening doors. The mini figures are amazingly detailed. Thor, Loki, and Hulk are the best ones to date. i Would give this 4 out of 5 because the color scheme is wrong, but I'm sure it would have been expensive to recolor so many parts so i give it 5 out of 5, because it is a great set."
"the designer of this set did great here! I love just about everything about this set. It is great value as the p-p-p is about 9 cents a piece. Minifigs Naturally, Darth Vader has to come in this set and he still looks great, and gets a new head. The Emperor is still awesome looking as well. The Anikin should be called Vader at this time in the movie but it would be confusing if he was, so i understand. he looks good too! Build the build was fun as always.
Pros Minifigs, transformation feature, 3 DROIDS INCLUDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Price Per Part is good too. Cons the force throwing function doesn't work too well, but considering how great the rest of the set is it doesn't really matter."
"This set represents my favorite scene from episode 1 almost perfectly. The figs are great but maul's smile is out of place. I would not mind if price was raised if they had put at least half of the chamber's wall and made purification light taller. This is a great set for the value. I had never gotten Qui-Gon before so that was nice. I highly recommend this set."
"This is definitely one of my favorite star fighters that Lego has made. It is extremely detailed; ice skates are used for part of the engines ect. The mini figures are great except pilot which is same as u-wing's. Raddus is my favorite.
