"This set is really cool. I think LEGO has done a great job with the Speed Champions Series, and this is no exception! They both look great, stickers on the demon look good. The 1970 Charger tho....wow. I have all the cars, and it stands out the most IMO."
"I really do like this set. I think it looks fantastic and is very different from all the other modulars. I like the style of build, and the pink car. I would say that while I can appreciate new faces for the figs, there is something so classic about the old face. It was just part of the modular builds. I don't know, maybe I'm old school here. I also appreciate the levels not being just a rectangle, but having some shape to them. The front window idea for the diner was brilliant. Nice job"
"This set is perfect for a display in a bar, library, or bookshelf. It is a conversation starter. It is super creative, yet one of the more "professional" looking LEGO sets I have built to date. Great job!"
"I LOVE THIS SET! It is fantastic! Everything about it is awesome! I love the way the green tile pieces sit on the building, how it opens up on from the side and the top, all the people. Love it!
"This is a very accurate ship, when compared to the movie. I love that the ship lifts up, as if to take on another ship. I could have done with a few more figs or maybe a different shark (hammerhead?) but a good set.
I would recommend getting this set before it retires. We plan on using it as a tourist destination in our LEGO city."
"I bought 2 of these. If I see anymore I will buy more. I love the little market and the shop. I have taken both of these sets and made a little shopping market next to Ninjago City. Fun stuff!"
"Nya is my oldest child's favorite ninja, so getting to build this with her was awesome! An easy build, yet still looks great! My daughter enjoyed playing with this set for hours, until she told me to put it with the rest of our sets!
I do not have any critiques on this set, it moves and functions really well. The figs looks great! GET IT!"
"This is a good build. I actually built this in the labor room waiting on my third kid to arrive. It was a long day so I needed an activity. The overall look of this mech is pretty good. I am pleased with the size, as it it nice and bid compared to the buildings. I do wish the legs had knees. It is somewhat difficult to get this guy to pose, and there are only a few ways to pose him.
All in all a good value for the money. A really good looking mech!"
"This set looks really great from the front. I have some disappointment in how deep the set actually is. It is only about 4-5 studs wide in the playable sections. I also wish the lions had a place to be attached to the building.
I love that all the characters are present, without the masks."
"I bought this set mainly for the pull cart. I did not need the bad guy and the piranha suit, though they are a nice addition to the city. Again, Misako's face was pretty faded, the yellow just isn't bright. Other than that, it is a fun little set."
