Loved this set!
" This was a great set to put together! When I saw it come up on Lego.com in the end of July, beginning of August, I kept checking every day to see when it was available to purchase! I have put together 5 of the modular buildings such as the Grand Emporium and also the London Tower. This set was the most challenging in a good way! Definitely had to think on this one, whereas the others, I basically could do them while watching TV. The further I got along, the easier it was. I built this by myself and because neck fusions only worked on it about an hour a day. It took about 2 weeks to finish it. I always get sad when I'm almost finished with a Lego set. I would have loved to been able to do the Taj Mahal and the Carousel but I just started building Legos this past December and these aren't available anymore. I can't wait for the next "Expert" build Lego set to come out! Thanks Lego for a great item! "

Fantastic Lego Set
" I finished my Lego Tower set yesterday and the only disappointment I have is that I finished it. LOL I loved doing this set and wish there were a lot of other sets that are 4000 plus pieces. The detail in this set was amazing and I liked putting on the 556 little pieces to give it the detail.
I received all the pieces and a few extra ones. Not one piece missing. I also built everything on the dining room table and then assembled it on a 1/2" W x 12" D x 42" long piece of wood on the table where I am displaying the Tower. I was going to move the piece of wood after I had everything on it but decided to take the completed pieces to the table where I'm going to display the tower and then put the final connections together.
Some people complained because when they moved it, it fell apart. Because it's so long, if you don't have support under it, it will fall apart. That's not Lego's fault. I'd say that's the builders fault for not thinking ahead. Another person said he built it in 4-5 hrs and then it fell apart when he moved it. I have no clue how you can put this together in 4-5 hours and expect it to stay together. Another person said they were missing 25 pieces! I wasn't missing any - even had some extras. I do know that if you are missing pieces, you can go to Lego.com and order missing pieces for free. It puts your project on hold but that's just life.
I also buy all of my Lego sets from Lego.com. They are packaged so well so that when they arrive, the box isn't damaged and no pieces can fall out. I've heard some other places send damaged boxes.
Anyway, I loved doing this project. Next I'm working on the last building for my modular buildings. Just became available a week ago. It's the Movie Palace. I now have all 5 modular buildings that are available and my Tower. Wish I had the Taj Mahal but I can't afford to pay $2,000 for Lego Set. I'll just wait and see if something big comes out again - hint to Lego ;-)
My addiction to building Legos started this past December when my kids and grandkids gave me the modular Town Hall. Now I'm hooked :-) "
