"A great shame. This model looks good but looks are only skin deep. I actually enjoyed the build but the end result is a great disappointment. The transmission is an abject failure regardless of how it's built. I have built the GTRS the Chiron and the Lambo and I was beginning to think Lego were starting to get to grips with their technic transmissions. Sadly this model proves they are not. It is no surprise that this model can be found at a massive discount. Really though don't buy it, you will only be disappointed. I really feel that given the amount of money I have dropped on Lego product that a representative should be sent to my door with a refund and an apology."

Poor
"My first, and last, Lego advent calendar. Really poor models, practically unidentifiable. One or two decent spacecraft but on the whole disappointing. My Darth Vader also had a missing cape as mentioned by others. Not worth anywhere near £25. My advice is to avoid.
(Also purchased the Lego city advent which was much better)"
"I've now built all three technic supercars and in my opinion this is the best of them. (Just ahead of the Porsche) The whole build was great from start to finish. Not too much repetition, very satisfying progression with just the right level of challenge. I am not usually a big fan of the over complicated gearboxes favoured by the designers of these cars as they rarely work effectively. However this car is different, the gearbox is fun to build and actually works, well done Lego. Unlike other reviewers I did not experience colour variation, maybe because I didn't buy from the release batch. I didn't rush the build and completed it over several weeks .. at this price I like to make it last. We all have a different perception of what represents good value and for me at this price I struggle to see it but that's a decision for you. So to sum up I'd say that if you can get past the eye watering price tag you will be very happy with the build and overall result. Treat yourself! Ferrari next?"
"Having built the Porsche and loved it I was really looking forward to this. Sadly it turned out to be a bit if a let down. Whilst the completed model looks pretty good, especially with the led kit installed, it is somehow unsatisfying. The gearbox on all of these models seems largely pointless, they don't have any playability and for the most part don't even work properly. The W16 engine is pretty cool though. The rear end of the car looks and feels great. Alas the same can't be said of the front imo. I understand it's complicated but it just doesn't hold up, the whole front end feels very fragile and wobbly. The Porsche feels solid but the Bugatti doesn't. It feels like you need to be careful picking it up and is probably only any good as a shelf queen. (Probably as intended tbf) Overall it feels underdeveloped, I expected better at the not inconsiderable price! So Lego, ditch the over complicated, ineffective gearboxes and concentrate on a solid and usable aesthetic. Not so sure about the Lambo now?"
