"This is the very last jungle set I had yet to buy. I was very excited to get this set and spent an excruciatingly long time building it. This build was so hard because of its way of using the pieces. I love all the little caverns behind the mountain, especially the sleeping area for the alpacas. I think that the lava explosion mechanism was a little finicky, but if you hit the lever hard it will explode two ‘lava bricks’. I feel like the medical element was missing, but I can easily add that to the small hut. I love the zip line, as it was very fun to have Mia climb up the rocks and slide down from the balcony. The last set I built was the tiger jungle set, which I felt was an average difficulty. I was not expecting this set to be that hard. It took me a very long while. I like the log raft and the helicopter was super fun! This set is so tall, and the gems are overall my favorite piece. I have loved my LEGO experience, and would choose the LEGO friends jungle sets over every other theme. Although I have found some bad reviews insulting LEGO in multiple sets, I just want to say LEGO is my favorite toy and I will always buy your products. ❤️"
"I got this set for a back to school gift. Of course I chose the jungle theme. I actually have the old version of this set so i can compare them.
The old one has one mechanism where you can move the dam and it makes the waterfall disappear. This one actually has two! The water moves up and down, making a rapid like movement and you move a branch and it tips a log so you can make the tiger fall onto the rapids. But the best part is the hot air balloon ! It doesn’t have any thing to pretend steer it, but it does have a table for medical supplies and a crate for the tigers. I also love the baby turtle element because I don’t have one yet. The den is fun too. This set is tall and does not take up much space!"
"This was my first architecture build. I got it for Christmas. It took me ages to build and was so hard. It was missing a brick (still don’t know where it is. This piece was the same color as the carpet I was building it on). I replaced it with a random red piece after searching everywhere. It’s very pretty for a desk. I put it on mine. This set is fun for backgrounds of cities. Since I’m more of a playable sets kind of person this did not really stand out. Before I moved it to my desk it was on my table behind the LEGO Harry Potter stuff. Took me a while to get this review in I’m sorry but I like this set."
"I love this fun set! First of all: LEGO is entirely exceeding my expectations with 3 pandas and two minifigs!! Building it was kind of strenuous, mostly because when you first build the tree it is really breakable. However, once you set the baseplate on top of it, it’s really sturdy. I love the printing on the third panda!! She’s so cute with her ‘dirty’ head and body. The tire swing is sadly not as fun as I thought. The pandas can’t really swing on it. The slide works with both the pandas and humans. The tree house itself is really fun!! It has a computer, table, and drawers. Inside the tree is a hidden sleeping area (fits pretty much two pandas). And OMG the poop piece is amazing!! It reminds me of the chocolate ice cream piece, just more triangular. Lol!!! The monkey bars are really fun and add to the playful effect of this build!! There’s a small yellow box carrying some leaves and a brick-built wheelbarrow can carry both an extra bamboo piece or a panda. Also—if you have problems putting the pandas on a brick, look no further! Place the pandas in the middle of four studs, instead of on top!! Well, five stars for this set!! ❤️❤️❤️"
"Before the LEGO friends update, Stephanie was always the flattest character. Now she’s athletic, and still has a little of her bossy flair.
Mia is still my favorite character. Now I love her even more, because I see myself (the dark-minded, villain-loving, pessimistic person) in her eyes.
Emma used to be MEH. Now she’s funny, obsessed with cheese and Ethan, and I LOVE HER! She has lost her fashion aspect, but who cares, really?
Olivia is quieter than before, but I like that! Her new skin color is great because of the diversity. Dr. Alva is a new character and Zobo is so much more… ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (What!??? I like robots! lol ) has
Andrea is still the person I can’t relate to. I used to love it when she had her poofy hair because it kinda mirrored her BIG attitude. But her braids are nice, too!
What I’m trying to say is that i love LEGO friends still even after the update!"
"When the LEGO friends first changed their look, I felt angry, confused, betrayed, and terrified. I still had mixed emotions until about a month ago. That’s when I was on LEGO.com and found Jungle Rescue Base. I searched it up on their website so many times that when I type up ‘jungle’ it suggests ‘rescue’ and then ‘base’. We ordered it a day late (the bad side of having a dead phone). While waiting for it, I barely slept. I turned down ice cream. I talked about it nonstop. Everything reminded me of it. When it arrived, I was swimming at the pool. I ran to the restroom, got out of my swimsuit and practically flew to the car. On the drive home, I pinched myself nearly fifty times. I tore open the box, and ran to the playroom to build it, pinching myself fifty more times.
The actual review:
I love how large this set is. It had so many accessories I didn’t see and the animals are beautiful. The rope ladder is great (so smart how you made it out of a roller coaster track). The functions on the tree really work!! The sloth can really hang and I love that you can put bows in the animals hair, even though you’d probably only see that at the petting zoo. The spider may only have six eyes, but I pretend it’s a six eyes sand spider. The rainforest turtle it so cute and I love how even though sloths and elephants don’t live in the same jungle you can imagine all the ways they got their.
"When I was first looking for LEGO sets to buy, my eyes fell upon the Jungle Rescue Base. I saw the elephants and told myself, this is what I’m going to get. I also noticed a small, cheap set with an elephant. That was Baby Elephant Jungle Rescue. I watched these two sets waiting for it to blare out: AVAILABLE NOW.
When it came out I thought I was going to explode. We ordered it ASAP. When it arrived, I was jumping up and down.
I open up the bag and see this most amazing and beautiful blue baby elephant. It’s plastic is smooth to the touch and it’s actually quite big. Building the set was not a problem. I loved the new(?) colors in the heart piece and the flowers. They were like a watermelon color. The jungle ‘uniforms’ looked cute on the girls. Their buggy and trailer are so pretty and I want to show everybody the cool details like where you put the hook and how you can pull the baby elephant out of the mud and save it!! The fact that the hook pulling out the baby elephant really works is incredible. I set Stephanie up with the shovel, but the digging isn’t good enough! The elephant is sinking! Emma detaches the trailer and attaches the hook. Pulling the elephant out, Stephanie finishes the job by feeding the elephant eucalyptus leaves. They put him in the trailer, and drive him back to camp. (By the was I was watching the show and found his name was Baby. What name is that!!??) Overall I love this set and cannot wait for Jungle Rescue Base to arrive. Check out my review on there!! Sry if my pics are sideways. It keeps happening."

So so sorry it’s sideways. I took it right side up!!
"This set is small but jam packed with accessories. I love the hair pieces and bows. Nina (the hairstylist) has cool clothes and hair. I love that you can read the newspaper and eat cherries. Only negative point: when you want the dolls to get their hair wet you can’t get them to lie down with their hair in the clamshell. I checked to make sure that they were in the right place and sadly they were. But overall great addition to my city."
"The knight bus is jam-packed with lovely surprises! The chandelier moves at every lurching stop and just as Harry cozies up in bed he get whooshed forward. Ernie can turn his chair around to tell Harry hi and Stan holds on for dear life outside right below the sign stating ‘All destinations Nothing Underwater’. Tired of sitting? Hop on the the sort of balcony inside with a cute chair. On the third story you can find Harry’s trunk and the Daily Prophet. Tired of looking through the many windows? Open up the door, take off the roof, or pop off The third story! The front of The bus is lovely and looks so much like a real bus— just purple!!"
"Love this magical hut!! Hagrid is one of my FAVORITE characters and this set not only opens up a whole new world (I swear that song is from Rapunzel NOT Aladdin) but also comes with countless wonders. I adore the many pieces hanging from his roof. Buckbeak is my FAVORITE OF THE WHOLE SET!! Ok, sorry, I got carried away. Buckbeak is amazing. He actually can get attached to the post without you needing to go through much work. I love to pretend Harry Hermione and Ron are turning back time, and I am able to act out the whole scene with the addition of two other sets ( clock tower and Dementors. Eeesh the one with Sirius sorry). Love this set!!!!!! (I really need to stop saying that). The hardest part of building this was the roof parts but I think that’s on me. I lost the egg in the fireplace and had to borrow one from my brother. Love this set… Ack, sorry!!"
