FUN ...AT FIRST
" My 7 & 8 year old grandkids were very excited to start creating with the Punk Pirate Beat Box. The LEGO building aspect of it was done very quickly as it is quite small, but the novelty started to wear off once we had trouble downloading the app and then tried to follow the directions. Sadly, their patience ran out quickly and they lost interest. Grandpa came to the rescue by getting it all set up and ready to use while we went out to dinner. It was a fun way to pass the time while waiting for our food to be served, but that interest did not continue once we got home. My grandkids may have just needed a little more guidance than other kids, but from our experience we would recommend the BeatBox for ages 8+. In the future I plan to purchase more BeatBits so the kids have more options for creativity. It's a great idea for kids who love to build LEGOs along with the option of using technology to bring their creations to life.
