Awesome detail, and great design.
" First, let me decry the people who insist on giving bad reviews for a set that they do not even possess. Stop giving negative reviews based on your experience in getting or not getting one of these sets. Grow up. Be fair and objective. Save your complaints for Customer Service.
Secondly, this is an amazing set that has been a long time in coming. I pieced it together from spares before the actual release, and fell in love with it. My only reservation is that I wish it were bigger. At the scale it is in, there is a ton of detail. The angles are great, and I think it sits very well on the stand without being unstable. It uses a ton of different elements to give the appearance of detail on the hull. And working in that pink 2x2 plate got somebody a free lunch! ;) I hope that LEGO continues with these types of sets that highlight ships that have been otherwise overlooked throughout the years.
With that being said, despite having gotten a boxed set, I wish LEGO would not overlook the non-US fans. It surely must be frustrating not being able to get hold of this great piece.

Amazing detail, and so many great mini figures.
" I was not disappointed at all with this set. I saw enough reviews early on, that I knew I wanted to add this to my collection.
The build is great, albeit a bit tedious at times with the walls. But overall, the details and varied features kept my attention. It is a huge set. There are so many areas and play options that younger fans will be busy for quite a while.
Of all the features in this set, the best is obviously all of the varied mini figures. Many new characters join some old favorites. Updated backpacks on the sandtroopers are better than previous variants. You will not be bored with this selection.
Finally, I will address the numerous unfavorable reviews that have been posted. This is a great set. Stop giving the set itself negative reviews if you are unhappy with LEGO and the availability of set. Be fair and objective. "
