Extremely replayable
" I got this for my 6 year old son who is learning chess, and it makes the game a lot more fun for him. This set is a great value, with 20 mini figures and an interesting board build.
I agree with other reviewers that some of the geometric pieces, like the bishops on the pirate side, are a bit odd. We replace those with different mini figures from other sets when we play. Also some of the figures need to be taken apart so they will fit inside the collapsed board for storage, but that's not too hard to do.
My son also has the LEGO Brick Bounty pirate ship set, and he uses the mini figures from this set to stage huge pirate vs. soldier battles on the ship. Great fun.
