Pricey Disappointment
" The price jump from $3.99 to $4.99 is just a deal breaker. We always tried to collect all the figures ever series. I could rationalize at $4, but at $5 that's a 25% increase! Collecting all 16 is now a $80 out lay!
What's even more disappointing is that the price isn't justifiable. These aren't licensed products. The price increase has been in effect before the pandemic. It's just feels like nothing but a blatant money grab.
The overall increase in all set prices while combined with a noticeable decrease in the number of pieces is disappointing and frankly alienating to a long time Lego fan. The CMF price jump is just the most obvious case of the increase in price and reduction in part counts.
