My current centerpiece
" This is an amazing set, I loved every minute of putting it together. As my first ever UCS set it did not disappoint and is currently the focal point of one part of my display areas. This is purely a display set as the size is much too big for minifigs to fit in, and some of the more decorative elements are a bit too easy to knock off. The stand is well designed and I love how it displays it at an angle so that you can deploy the movable elements to mirror what you see in the movie. This is a great addition to any collection especially if you have the UCS Hoth set and a couple of other speeders to display with it. I set this up in a cubby hole designed into a hallway, so not everything is readily visible, but the overall effect is very nice. "

More than I expected!
" I recently got this as a Christmas present from a co-worker. My love of Star Wars and Legos are well known at work as I have a couple of smaller sets decorating my desk. I've never considered the microbuilds as a purchase for myself as I prefer the bigger ships to display at home. The build was a lot more involved than I expected from a $10 set and included a lot of details. The pilot looks really good (the only minor beef here is that the helmet doesn't cover all of the back of his head). I was able to build this fairly quickly during a couple of breaks at work, and now it sits proudly between the Snowspeeder and the Imperial Troop Transport on my desk. You can safely assume that I will be getting a couple more of these microbuilds in the future. There may be a whole fleet on my desk before management shuts it down. "

favorite build ever
" I grew up on the 80's Space Lego sets and Star Wars. I've wanted to get the Falcon from the first time I saw it in Target probably 20 years ago, but I could never justify it either in budget or living situation. Now with the VIP program and a young nephew to buy Legos for I was able to build up some reward points and finally justify it in the budget. The build itself was fun, there were a couple of tricky parts where I had to force myself to focus, but I was watching Episodes 4&5 during the build. The detail included in this set is amazing from the holo-chess board to the captain's chair in the main cabin where Han holds court, the hidden smuggling compartment, and the ramp, all are excellent. I wish the cockpit was a bit bigger and more detailed because that is where a lot of the action in the movies takes place. The only other minor gripe might be that there isn't really a gunner position for a mini fig, but with both of those things it would have made the set almost twice as big and twice as expensive, so it's all good. I really like how much open space there is inside the ship with different places to have the figures carrying out different tasks, and if you have multiple Star Wars sets you should have a lot of the other mini figs to recreate many of the scenes from any of the movies. It's a very sturdy build that can stand up to some rigorous play when the kids are around to play with it, and the centerpiece of my now growing collection. It is absolutely worth full price if you can afford it, but with some VIP points or on sale it's an absolute steal. As a display piece it's beautiful, but it also offers a great deal of play value and a rugged construction to handle almost anything an 8 year old can put it through short of a flat out drop on the tile floor. It may have taken me 20 years to pull the trigger on the purchase, but I'm glad I did. "
