"Picked this up at my local Lego store and just finished it. First I would say that I found this to be an incredibly easy build. No real surprises and I would think a 7 year old could build this without any help. It was fun to build something simple and finish it quickly. Having recently finished the Tumbler it was a nice change of pace. The minifigures are pretty good for this set. I don't have any of the previous versions of this ship so can't compare but it was nice to get Watto and Darth Maul for my collection. The ship is pretty fun and has a few play features for the younger fans. I have to say that this set is just wildly overpriced. Coming in at 662 pieces with a cost of 90 bucks! I would try to find it on sale if possible. Overall I enjoyed building this and I am happy to add it to my Star Wars collection."

Cool looking speeder
"Built this on a Friday night and then happened to watch TPM on Saturday evening. I guess this speeder is in the movie but if you blink you will miss it! I spotted it on screen for about 3 seconds. Anyway, the build is very easy and it has a nice collection of minifigures included for this price point. I really like the look of this speeder. I don't have anything else in my collection that is this green so it really stands out on the shelf. I am sure it would be really fun to play with for a lego loving kid. Overall a neat little build that won't take much time and will make a nice addition to your SW collection."

Incredibly fun to build
"This was my first UCS set to build and I have to say it is incredible! It is extremely fun to build. The end result is nothing short of remarkeable. The detail and size of this model is awesome! The included minifigs are fantastic, especially Boba with his arm printing! So cool. The stand you build to display this massive ship on works perfectly and is itself a marvel of design. The only con I could come up with is when you bring out the guns on the side of the ship the panels can separate easily and look disjointed. I just leave the guns hidden for a cleaner look. Overall this is the coolest thing I have ever built and I love to look at it on the SW lego shelf my daughter and I have. It's amazing, get it before it's gone!"

Father Please!!
"Just finished up building this set last night and I have to say it is pretty great! My 9 year old daughter is heavily in to all things SW right now and we have had a blast building these sets together. The new Minifigs are excellent! Luke does in fact have one black hand, not sure why it shows his hands as both being "real" in the photo. The new Darth Vader is simply stunning, the best version to date. The 2 part helmet piece is incredible and it's so cool to re-create that iconic moment when Luke removes the top part of Vader's helmet to reveal old man Anakin underneath. The Emperor is menacing as always and has leg printing now. The Royal guards appear to be the same as from the newest battle pack and they look great with new capes and arms to match.
The build is fun and very easy with lots of brick stacking which my daughter loves. The set comes together before your eyes in a very straightforward 6 numbered bags and there are fun surprises along the way as you build the set. As a finished piece the playability is off the charts. It also would look fantastic as a display piece with Luke and Vader locked in combat as the Emperor watches from his throne. Overall this is a really fun set and is very easy to assemble but also a fun little build."
